I’ve had a lot of bbq in my life and these by far was the best ribs I ever had in my life! The line was super long but it was worth the wait!!! No sides comes with bread. And that sauce is soooooooo sooooooo good! Meat was tender, if ur ever in the area and catch him open…trust me when I say stop and try!!!!! I hope to catch him again when I come back to Savannah!!! This is the $5 rib plate.

Terrible management that leaves 30 people outside in the pouring rain for 45 minutes while one person on line got food only to tell everyone else they ran out. Only had food left for catering. How difficult is it to open your eyes look at your inventory and look at the people outside and figure that out. Absolutely no regard for it’s customers. Thankfully I had munchies bbq as a backup and it was excellent especially the collards, ribs and chicken and guess what you can sit at a table inside

I was vacationing in Savannah. Best meal in Savannah hands down. Ribs were great. Sauce was excellent. Get here early at 10:30 and you won’t be disappointed.

Randy is some kind of evil genius! What he does to the BBQ to make it taste so good I can’t even imagine. I don’t like mustard but somehow he makes the Carolina sauce so scrumptious that I have lick it off the to go container. It’s a bit out of the way and you may have to wait, but trust me, it’s worth it!

If all you want is great bbq ribs and you have cash in your pocket, go to Randy’s. We waited 20 minutes, but it was worth it. Large ribs had about 5 or 6 bones and about as many rib tips along with 2 slices of bread. The sauce tasted like it’s a mustard base with some tomato sauce and maybe some fat. Very tasty!

It’s off the beaten path and no frills about it (there are no sides sold), but it will be some of the best BBQ you’ve ever had. Oh those ribs! We got there early, jumped in line and ordered like we knew what we were doing. (Reminiscent of Pat’s in Philly or Katz’s in NYC you’ll quickly see who the locals are that know how to order ). The ribs alone (“sauce on the side” we found out is preferred) were so flavorful. We got a full rack and ate almost every one. Wish this place was closer to home.

I usually love Randy’s, but this day, they ran out of chicken after being open 45 minutes. I got my plates, and they were not hot. The guy serving food picked up the bread with his hands, and his nails were gross. I asked for extra sauce and did not get it, was trying to tell him, and was brushed off. This was after coming up there twice to get food and them not being open. I was disappointed .

I sure don’t know why all of the good ratings? These were simply the worst ribs I have ever had, and I teach bbq! There is no low and slow here! They are cooked directly over charcoal, thus a strange ‘off taste’ to them and no rub, no smoke bark, and no mop sauce! I can’t believe people line up for these?

Best ribs ever! Run, don’t walk to this place. Get the ribs, some extra Carolina mustard sauce, and dig in. Plate is always devoured and belly always full and satisfied with their food. Delicious! Been here in Sav for 18 yrs and Randy’s is always the first place I mention for best BBQ.
