Very friendly staff. The place looked clean and welcoming. Quick service. Prices are the same as anywhere else, pretty much about $12 per person. Unfortunately the food was not good at all. We got an asada quesadilla and a two asada taco with rice and beans plate along with a coffee and an horchata. The quesadilla was very oily and the meat had good texture but had no flavor besides a load of salt. The tacos were the same, no flavor. The only flavor I was getting from the tacos was coming from the tortilla itself. The beans were clearly can beans and no flavor either. The rice was decent. Even the horchata was very bland. Again the staff was very nice, nothing against them but the owner or cook should work on adding flavor to the food.

Not happy with the portion size or the price or the flavor. I ordered a 10 dollar burrito and it looked like a rolled taco, it was so small. I ordered the Al Pastor but it didn’t taste like Al Pastor. It wasn’t bad tasting but it definitely didn’t taste like an Al Pastor like the kind I’ve ordered at numerous other places. The server was nice but unfortunately, everything else wasn’t. I’m not paying 10 bucks for a server to be nice. I just want to eat.

Best breakfast burritos in Temecula and their green salsa is amazing. I get take out often and some of the dishes fell short (too salty green chile, charged extra for cheese and none was added). Over all one of my fav to go Mexican spots

This is my first time at this restaurant location. Restaurant was clean, salsa bar was stocked, order was made in a timely fashion.

Used to be mine and my families favorite place to eat at every friday or saturday but the food and service just isnt the same anymore. I dont know what happened with the place but it just isnt how it used to be my friends and family can also agree. Food is now ok to good at best but nothing unique or significant now. Place can be dirty sometimes but as expected it gets packed. Really miss the authenticity from this place but I guess things have to change over time.

So I always go to this spot out of convenience. Tonight I went and I ordered 3 items. Costed 24 something and I tipped. The beans inside the bean and cheese burrito were clearly bad. My daughter did they’re was something different then I went to taste it before I could even rate it I could smell the awful smell. I called in and the girl who took my order was so rude. She told me there was nothing they could do about it now. I asked if I could go on tomorrow… get response was I guess you could just explain to them. I wondered if they actually smelt and tasted the beans. Definitely won’t go back anymore. That’s too much $$ for such poor service.

Enthusiastic for a good breakfast this am! Order to go! I returned the Choizo con Juevos’ bfast that I doubted the meat? “This is what we use”. Guys are nice enough…just trashed it there. I was more sorry…still hungry!

Respectfully, this is hands down the worst Mexican food I have had in my life. Asada Fries were bland. Asada burrito had no rice or beans. Quesadilla was DRENCHED in oil I could fry an egg on it. The agua de jamaica was watered down, no flavor. For $43? Just save your money people. No vale la pena

I used to drive down to Temecula Parkway to get good Mexican food, so I’m super happy that Jilberto’s is close to my parents house. We don’t have to go too far to get decent Mexican food, and it’s ALWAYS satisfying!
