My evening at Old Herald can only be likened to a journey through the seven circles of Dante’s Inferno, with an experience so distressing that it will forever be etched into the annals of gastronomic disappointments.

We LOVE the private room at Old Herald Brewery for hosting events. We have had the pleasure of installing/decorating this venue with balloons on several occasions and have never been disappointed. Our clients have also commented on how easy the venue is to work with and how accommodating they are to their vision for the event. As a local vendor, we have had nothing but great experiences here. We would definitely recommend choosing Old Herald for your next private party!

Best experience ever, very nice customer service. Food was great I recommend the Caribbean citrus salad . Environment was nice too and live music was great. Would definitely recommend coming here!

Great beer brewed, good spirits distilled, but underwhelming food.

Good beers, okay food and good spirits. The Nashville hot chicken sandwich is light on chicken and heat, but the French onion soup is really good. The ketchup is a must try – smoky and amazing! The place gets pretty loud when it’s busy, but it’s a good time.

The place is very nice, unfortunately we had a party of 25 and had to wait almost 2 hours for our food. When the food finally came out, many of the orders were wrong and food was cold. We were very patient due to the number of guests we had but the service was way past ridiculous! There should be no way we should even ask a waiter several times for salt and pepper and for the food to be hot like advertised. There was only one person helping our party and she was doing the best she could but the rest of the staff didn’t step in to help. The waitress told me that because she took so long entering our order that the cooks refused to do the rest of the orders that got messed up and the ones that were cold so the manager had to finish cooking the orders that was in need of help. Very sad situation and I was very disappointed but not surprised at the behavior of the staff in the kitchen and the manager never came out to apologize or anything!! Steaks got ordered medium rare and came out well done, chicken was ordered to be extra crispy and was rare I can go on and on about the rest of the orders but it would take forever!!!

Old Herald Brewery & Distillery was sooo good! I ordered the Pork Belly Tacos, Brewer’s Loaded Fries (to share), and my boyfriend had the margarita flatbread. Everything tasted amazing and I left learning that I could add my pickled onions onto my tacos for future reference!

Great lunch spot. The hot chicken sandwich and fries were excellent, and the service was great. I would return.

Waitress was awesome but it appeared they were busy (5:30 Friday). Atmosphere is also very good. The beverages even better… The The food was just OK. We had beer battered fish, a t-bone and the sliders. The fish had no flavor and I am not sure what the shredded brussel sprout side was supposed to be. The steak tasted like all the other food that was cooked on the grill. The sliders were bland as well. The fries were seasoned well and the mashed potatoes were good, too.

Went there to see a band at their new stage, which was nice. The place was nice, had a great vibe… drinks were expensive and not really what you would expect, with boutique tequila, in a Margherita that was really heavy on the cheap sour mix.
