I’ve gone to many seafood places like this so I had high expectations. It was my first time going to this place. As soon as we walked in it felt super hot. Another customer was complaining and was told that the AC had issues. They had a fan on the floor and didn’t bother to turn it on.

On my third visit, I have decided to put a review up. Of course I started with a bowl os seafood gumbo. It has shrimp, sausage and crab. Each visit the gumbo comes out different in flavor. This time is was slightly on the burnt side. But at least they put the rice on the side with garlic bread.

My wife and I decided to try Kongs for the first time today. We arrived at opening (the first ones dining in). The server took our drink order expeditiously. Unfortunately, it took him longer to bring them to the table.

Great service from the manager that was on site when I visited. Food was really good along with the drinks. I ordered the spicy crawfish, potatoes, sausage, and eggs. Everything was pretty good, but the size of the crawfish! I’m going to give it about two weeks hopefully the crawfish will increase in size.

Let me start by saying i typically enjoy this restaurant and the servers are very attentive and kind. However, today i ordered 3lbs of crawfish at $9.99 per pound. they were fresh and flavor was good, in my opinion but they were extremely tiny. about 90% of the tails measured to 1 inch, if that, and so obviously the claws were basically nonexistent. i understand it’s still semi early in the season but the prices should reflect what is being offered. after receiving the 3 pounds i asked if i could just add 2 more pounds as they advertise a buy 5 get one free special on the menu but the waiter informed me that all 5lbs must be ordered at the same time to receive the promotion despite the fact they do not inform you of how tiny their crawfish are before you order. to add insult to injury, there were many that were missing the tail. the waiter informed me that they SHOULD be receiving larger crawfish next week but went on to say he really doesn’t know for sure because they simply place an order for crawfish in pounds and receive what they receive which seems to me to be unacceptable seeing as though they should have a quality standard for the food they are receiving and serving. with all that being said, i would not recommend dining here if you are looking for crawfish. there are plenty of other restaurants that currently have average to large crawfish for the same price if not cheaper.

The gumbo was pretty good, however, we tried the crawfish special, they were not fresh they were frozen, whole??? I thought you weren’t supposed to do that, they were nasty and freezer burnt, we sent them back and left. People were nice, restaurant was relatively clean.

What Amazing food! The name scared us, but we took a chance. Really nice inside and the food was Terrific! Draft beers were ice COLD! Our Server was super friendly! Mardi Gras Pasta was just amazing!

I enjoyed being able to get my crawfish & daiquiri at the same spot. The crawfish had nice flavor. A little over seasoned/juiced for a Togo bag but tender enough to remove vein in one peel. I didn’t like the size to seasoning ratio. By 3lbs my hands were on FIRE bc majority of them were so small(takes a while to peel & eat small portions ) . $9.99 a pound & 100% not the best I’ve ever had. I have tiny hands and this was the average size. I gave up and threw a get chunk in the trash which I never do when I eat my crawfish. I just couldn’t do it anymore.. felt like I was fighting for my food. Not a $70 meal.
