Worst Mexican food we’ve ever eaten. On top of the 45 minutes it took to get our food, the food was absolutely atrocious. And when we got our chip refill, they didn’t even get us new paper on the bottom of the baskets (I know this because we had thrown our napkin rings and straw wrappers in the empty chip basket, and got the trash back underneath our “fresh” chips.) I have no idea why this place is rated so highly. The server was inattentive and my son had to ask another server where ours was because we hadn’t seen him since he gave us our drinks. Terrible experience all around. The ONLY reason we ate the food, is because we were driving all day and were hungry. We’re fully expecting to get sick from the food, if we don’t; it’ll be a miracle.

Service was fantastic. Waiter was happy to answer my questions and was quick onnthe drink refills. Price was outstanding. For less then $18 I had a huge meal and that includes the $2.99 pop. That’s a little pricey for a drink but the great value on the food .ales up for it.

The waiter who served us, did so quickly and efficiently. He was also very helpful and kind. We really enjoyed our experience there. I liked seeing the guests being served happily as well, by other employees. Even singing Happy Birthday to one customer.

Our waitress didn’t speak much English but even so was SO attentive, not over bearing, and on point with her service. Probably one of the best waitresses I’ve ever had. The food was out so quickly and was fire! This is one of our favorite places to go to.

They were busy but that was the best food Mexican style I’ve had since I moved away from Detroit. It looks small outside but it’s huge inside. You’ll be surprised by the staff. They were nice, polite, helpful. My drink and my food were amazing. Thank you La Cabana for the best food and service.
