The food here is extremely tasty and was surprisingly inexpensive. We placed an order of the Orange soy “chicken” and it was the best orange “chicken” I’ve had, even if compared to real chicken. My wife ( not yet vegan) loved it as well. The pineapple fried rice was outstanding and I couldn’t stop eating it. If you want the truth, you wont regret anything you order from here, i can tell.

This is a small quaint place for Thai food. We often visit this restaurant because of the selection of Thai dishes. They are always changing the interior to keep it nice. Every time we go here we see something new. If you get a chance stop in and enjoy a quiet place to have dinner where you can carry on a conversation with shouting. Something you can’t do at many other restaurants.

The paid Thai was too sweet, the peanut sauce tasted only like peanut butter, and the staff was rude. I asked them to pack up my food for me when I was done eating, one of the women glared at me, i told her my hands were full and she laughed at me. I obviously want to support plant based businesses, but as a costumer I don’t appreciate being laughed at. I did not feel like a valued customer. Prices were fair.

NOT VEGAN. I wish I could give negative stars. This place is advertised as “Thai Vegan” and they claim that everything they make is vegan. I found 2 full large shrimps in my chow mein and what looks like real chicken. I have an illness in my stomach and cannot eat animal products or meat at all, so this is completely unacceptable. I threw up after eating the noodles because I didn’t find the shrimp until half way through eating, and it was obviously cooked with the noodles. I cannot stress enough how unacceptable this is, you really need to advertise to people when things aren’t vegan at a “vegan” restaurant. If someone is allergic to shellfish, for example, this could end very badly. If someone was vegan for years, they could get sick like me. A restaurant should NOT claim to be vegan if they have animal products in the kitchen, let alone if their name is “Thai VEGAN”. I called the resturant and their only response was that “they have multiple locations” and other nonsense, I asked multiple times if all their food was vegan (as they say in the description, “no animal products”) and they didn’t answer the question. DO NOT order if you have been vegan for a while or are allergic to meat. So disgusting.

This is a great though somewhat tucked away location, I especially liked the plant filled outdoor seating which had bug netting. Crab fried rice and yellow curry, both were flavourful beyond the somewhat bland taste that I’ve come to expect from average Thai restaurants in LA.

I just had lunch here and they’re not following the CDC guidelines. They have an open kitchen where you can see the entire staff -no one was wearing masks and only one was wearing gloves. The hostess/server (no mask) is handling money, silverware and serving food without washing her hands. There are multiple use soy sauce, salt and pepper shakers on the tables (not one was sterilized during my visit at any other table so I assume the ones I had to use weren’t either). The teriyaki chicken was good especially if you like cold, sticky over cooked rice. I won’t be back. Here’s hoping I don’t come down with COvid19.

Compared to others, I think this place is good. Almond milk for Thai iced tea. Great lunch specials option. Comfortable and pretty atmosphere.
