Very surprised find of authentic German food in Walnut Creek, chef use fresh ingredients and prepare very tasty and health dishes, clean nice European style decorations, fresh German on taps, food portions are Germany standard – plenty with very reasonable price. We will be back for more.

Stop by mother’s day and tried the Bavarian meat roll, bean soup with a very unique and tasty Forrest cake.

This is a lovely little traditional German restaurant that serves a variety of options. Sadly they don’t have any German-style breads. Nor do they have options for people with food restrictions.

Great place that reminds us of Czech Republic. Service is wonderful and food fantastic. We like to go for lunch.

I had the marinaded beef roast. My partner had the meatloaf. Both were tasty. We shared a homemade apple strudel. We left with our bellies stuffed. I would go again.

The bean soup was pretty tasty. The Bavarian Chicken was big enough for 2 portions. The chicken was juicy with a nice crunch but also bland. The potato salad had more seasoning. A side of mushroom sauce was a nice addition to the chicken. My friend ordered the Jaeger Schnitzel. He finished the 2 patties and the cabbage, but wasnt a fan of the bland spaetzle. Hes been there a handful of times and said, “It used to be better.” Disappointed to learn that dessert also isnt an option during the week.

Authentic Euro food a long with a mainly Euro crowd. Never fails on quanity and quality of food. Before the pandemic it was a great date night place or just to grab a beer joint. But now more than ever we must support local business. Otherwise they won’t be there when we need them. Jerry the owner is a good guy and he needs people to get the munchies and order take out food. Please do it and I promise you will not be disappointed

The restaurant run by Czech immigrant serves authentic Czech, German, Austria comfort foods like Schnitzel, tripe soup, pork roast etc,. I know the most well known Schnitzel is made with Veal which is called Wiener Schnitzel. Also, tripe soup is very soothing, comforting. This reminds me of when i enjoyed eating Korean version of hangover soup like 해장국, 소머리국밥, etc,.

We were really looking forward to this place since we were from out of town. Decided to try this place but the food was quite bland and under seasoned. In comparison to Esthers German Bakery in MV, their schnitzel was not very flavorful and the breading was falling off too. The portion was very generous to feed two but not the best schnitzel I ever had. Their food looks very photogenic though.
