Keep in mind gyros are not my favorite. In fact I don’t ever eat them. My husband is from Europe and loves them. I got the chicken one and it was amazing. The fried dough balls were amazing too! Would recommend.

Just left and extremely dissatisfied. I am not a picky eater at all and the rice has a very cumin taste and I ordered extra meat and there was 2.4 ounces of meat on the bowl. Love Greek food but not happy with this first experience.

Some of the best gyro around! Came here for lunch and I was not disappointed. I got the chicken gyro with feta and it was amazing. They really load it up with all the toppings and meat. The perfect refreshing food for a hot day. I will definitely be coming back here.

Staff was great. They alerted us that they were out of chicken before we ordered which I appreciate. The menu states that they top the gyros with French fries, Which I didn’t particularly care for. The meat they use is cooked very well.

Needed a quick bite to eat on our way out of town and stumbled upon The Gryo Spot, and it definitely did not disappoint. Food was Amazing, service was quick and friendly, and the price was fair. On top of the great food/service, Alex went above and beyond and shipped out my kid’s souvenirs that I left sitting on their counter and didn’t realize until I was on the train to the airport. Called them up and he took care of the next day on his day off. A pretty cool gesture that not everyone would do nowadays.

Friendly service for sure, we lucked out with no line. We did not luck out with flavor, the fries lacked flavor and needed salt, the meat was ok, not delish; looks much better in pics. Lots of flies, need a screen for sure on the door.

This is a nice place to stop in for some Greek food in downtown Salem. I had the pork gyros and it was quite nice. It was a healthy portion. We also had the fries with tzatziki. The tzatziki was really nice, thick and garlicky. The staff were very friendly. It is a small place but we had no problem getting a table.

I had a great experience coming here today, The manager Alex was super nice and helpful, and the food was really tasty!! the chicken and rice bowl was really good and so were the feta fries. would definitely come again!!

I’ve eaten at a different Gyro Spot and wasn’t impressed, but I wanted to try my local one and I was even less impressed. Gyros are one of my favorite foods.. if done right, but Gyro Spot doesn’t seem to know how to make a Gyro at all. The meat was really tough and there was only the smallest hint of tzateki sauce… and way to many onions. I’m not planning on ever going back to Gyro Spot and if you love gyros as much as I do, you won’t either.

The meat was like shoe leather. The fries seemed a little on the undercooked side and flavorless. And the whole gyro all together lacked in flavor. The only good part was the pita bread. I live a block away and have been wanting to try them since I saw them opening and finally gave them a chance. Unfortunately I was really disappointed because I love a good gyro.
