This was my first time trying Wa Wah Kitchen. I was hesitant due to all the poor reviews, but my lunch special chicken and broccoli was delicious! The rice left a little to be desired, but the sauce made up for it. This is typical run of the mill American Chinese, but it definitely gets an “A” in my book. My co-workers and I all got different things and everything we tried was delicious. Proximity to my job is important as well, and since this is on the same street, I’ll definitely be ordering again.

Idc what anybody says wa wa kitchen has always had the best Chinese food in Meriden. Yes, they are a bit confused at times. And when I ordered today they gave me someone else’s order, I just called the guy on the phone and he came right back in a couple of seconds. We got our food and a free soda! That was nice. Wa wa is the best!!!

Just order 4 meals and just so surprised how the quality of has gone down since January, the rice was so bland no seasoning no vegetables nothing but a few pieces of pork..I just can’t believe the order I got. I have never had to right a poor review before and i have ordered alot. The boneless spare ribs are so disgusting and full oil I threw out a complete order…I cant believe that the quality of the food is this bad…what a shame they would serve this…look at all the oil in the spare ribs mostly fat pieces and the taste is nasty…

I placed a pickup order and the lady was just rude from the moment I came in. I asked for more duck sauce because I love it on my rice and I got an attitude for and and a snark from her. Then inside my bag were three things of Tabasco sauce I did not ask for and they were even even fully closed causing them to exploded all over my food. I can’t eat it because I can’t take the spice. Waste of $35 wasn’t worth it for the quality and service I received.

This place has always been a hit and miss but now it’s been just a miss. Food isnt up too par, the rice sometimes hard sometimes greasy sometimes not cooked, meat is greasy and not cooked well. Just a lot going on with the place and not recommended. Ting ho is the best in meriden/wallingford area.

A couple days ago I ordered boneless ribs. Guess what I got.. how dare me place another order again and the same woman took my order. When I ask her if my ribs would have bone again. Her reponse..it’s boneless ribs just like before.. crossing my finger if my order is wrong again so help me . Waiting on my order now…will keep you posted all.
