P & D is my go-to vegetarian restaurant for authentic Indian street food. I’ve tried most of their dishes and here are some of my favorites.

Ordered the samosa pizza and samosa chaat as a takeaway order. Both were really good, the samosa chaat especially was pretty unique. Would have liked a chutney dip with it.

This my friends is hands down the best place if you wanna experience the incrediblE Indian street food in New England!! The golgappa here is simply amazing!! With a variety of different pani’s to choose from in a live setting!! The sandwiches are delicious and very reasonably priced.. of course this eat out appears to be new to Lowell as work is still in progress in terms of dining space but who cares if the food is amazing!! I am gonna be a regular here moving forward! My stomach is very very happy

Visited this outlet recently and was very happy to see the menu. They seemed like a eating place that mostly concentrated on street foods/fast foods of India and this is something very rare to find here. We had the Sev puri, Gol gappa, Vada Pav, Usal Pav and the Rose Falooda. What I liked the most was the sev puri, everything about it was just right. Gol gappa was good but it could have been better and more tangy. Vada pav was again just ok, the vada (or Chutney) inside was too spicy for me, the pav did not seem like a regular pav but it was a hot dog bun which kind of ruined the taste for me, however finding a pav here may not be easy unless you bake it so I understand. Also tried the Usal pav, this again was not the best but tasty and we finished all of it, the gravy was too watery and was difficult to eat it along with the pav. The falooda was good and I enjoyed it. Prices were fair, quality was good. Plenty of free parking spaces nearby and the owner was friendly and proactive. They also have a counter where you can buy Sweet pan (A dessert made on betel leaves with rose syrup, coconut flakes etc) and the sweet pan was very good. Will surely recommend this place and I will surely visit this place again because there are many other things that I want to try. One thing, I wish was better was the look of the restaurant, things were dispersed all over, probably it was a grocery store previously that was converted into a restaurant (I remember there was a Subway at this location previously) so there were empty shelves here and there, which can be improved, this place has a lot of potential as it is a area that is frequently visited by the Indian fraternity.

This place is a hidden gem. Highly recommend for the Indian street food lovers. It will take you at least 3 days to try all the menu. Each and every item in the menu is unique and special. They have fresh sugar cane juice and coconut water. The staff is very friendly. The rates are very reasonable here.

The early closing timings of this place scrambled my plans for dinner a couple times, but I made it a point to get in early (around 6pm). This place is a classic ‘dont judge the book by it’s cover’ deal. This is a self service type restaurant with a live pani-puri counter if you’re willing to try it out.

Yummm Indian street food in Boston! Pani Puri is good! But samosa pav is amazing! Falooda with ice cream is also good! Don’t miss if in Lowell. Samosa pizza is also nice something new to try!
