We hoped to stop at this unique cafe for lunch on our drive from Kingsport to the airport and they did not disappoint. We ordered the chicken salad with potato salad and they accommodated GF with a sandwich option. Also had a mocha with Oatmilk which was very good. Lunch was plenty so you’re able to take half home if you do that! Would highly recommend!!

Really tasty fresh food! The atmosphere is very nice and being family owned and run makes it special. They roast their own coffee beans too. Service can a little slow due to staffing but it’s worth it!

We went for breakfast and were not disappointed! The food was delicious- plentiful and came quickly. The coffee was great and we tried their regular coffee, Cuban coffee and a terrific toasted coconut latte! The staff are all friendly and courteous and I recommend this wonderful Newland restaurant to anyone looking for a good meal! We will definitely be back soon!

I’ve tried this restaurant on 3 different occasions and every time has progressively gotten worse. I understand being short staffed and it being busy i will always have patience for this reason, but it is inexcusable to be a cafe with a coffee shop and not have one single person in the restaurant able to make a coffee. I don’t mean they made me a coffee and it was bad i mean i sat down let the waitress know i will be ordering only coffee, waited 7 minutes for her to come back and take my coffee order only for her to tell me the only person who knows how to make coffees just left the restaurant and i won’t be able to get a coffee. This happened at 11am on a Thursday they were not even super busy. I have tried multiple times to enjoy this cafe as it’s a super nice addition to the town of Newland but three bad experiences in a row is enough for me not to return.

Came in fifteen minutes before closing. The staff was very courteous and helpful. The new decor is beautiful. I had an awesome smashburger and a BLT with perfect bacon. I would definitely recommend to anyone in the area. Can’t wait to go back for breakfast!
