If you are looking for soul food cooked with heart & soul then this is the spot! One thing I love is to go to restaurants where the owner greets you at the door! Not only did Ms. Annie greet us, she also fixed our plates, and conversed with us the entire visit. This is a small intimate restaurant. The restaurant is buffet style but everything is behind glass & someone fixes your plate while you make your selections. Someone will also bring your drink to the table. Everything we had was delicious! I had the fried chicken, greens, & yams. My hubby had the chicken & dumplings, pinto beans & yams. The chicken & dumplings were the best I’ve had in years! I can’t wait to visit again! Such a rare gem with great prices as well!

Very pleased, it was like coming to grandma’s for dinner, it’s buffet but they plate your food which is fine with me an they pile it on your plate up for you, foods home made fresh. Even deserts are home made. Best greens my son says he’s had.

Food only ok. No fresh vegetables, which to my mind kinda kills who point of eating in summer when they are abundant! Lemon cake was delicious. Price was exorbitant–I paid $28.33 for fried chicken lunch, iced tea and cake. Will never go back.

Talk about the best homecooking establishment I’ve ever eaten at!! Woo! Food was stupendous! Quality of service is unsurpassed! I sat and ate with the owner, Ms. Annie. Talking to her was like sitting at home talking to a loving family member. She was really loving and nice. Cassie Davis from the Tyler Perry movies is from Holly Springs, and they say she stops in every time she’s in town. Had a wonderful experience. Every item I had on my plate was done to perfection! They’ve been here for 22 yrs, she told me.
