Unfortunately, it tasted as if it had been sitting in old mop water. The piece with the dry bones was missing meat there. The bones looked like something an Archeologists dug up. He also bought that tasted the same way. Butttt, I know plenty of people that LOVES RONNIE’S and travel here just for it. I wish you all the best in business, but it’s not worth the diarrhea or food poisoning for me.

Combo had 2 tiny pieces of fish not very tasteful, 3 very small but tasty pieces of shrimp and some fries, 2 slices of bread, pickles and a jalapeño. Very expensive at $13. Not worth it at all. $7 would be reasonable. Online prices do not reflect actual ones and CASH only not advertised elsewhere. You only find out when you are at the door. No utensils, no napkins or tartar sauce provided. Dark, gloomy not inviting atmosphere. Will NOT return.

Reasonably priced but VERY unfortunate that the smell of scorched grease hits you as soon as you open your plate and even more when you actually taste the fish. I immediately went back in to ask if all the food was cooked in the same grease (I didnt go in expecting a refund), and the young lady with the dreads said yes. Well I informed her that the grease is extremely scorched, however she was the least bit concerned about the advice or making it right with the customer …. So yea, eat at your own risk.

Sorry- sigh I try to support my folks but can’t do it anymore. I love there batter and fish is cooked just right always BUT paying $30 for a ten piece fillet and having them cut the pieces IN HALF (so it’s actually 5 pieces) is highway robbery! Times are too hard for this. Gonna have to go back to Louisiana Catfish at least I’ll get whole pieces.

Well I am SO DISAPPOINTED IN Ronnie’s on Red Bird Lane!!. I just ordered 2 pc fillet with 2 steaks and 2tails. Opened my container & I thought it was a mistake. Well it is a mistake! My 2 pc. looks like a one pc. cut in half and the 2 pc steak didnt look like steak AT ALL!. My tails are super small and the jalapeno pepper is dry. U got me this time but its the LAST TIME.
