If I could give 1 star I would. Went for dinner the other night and waited over 30 minutes for a server to even come to us, there was only 1 other table that had people seated and they had a different waitress. A couple came in after us, got menus and food before we even got our menus. Waited over an hour for our food, and the food came out cold and burnt. When asked for new from the burnt it came out again burnt. Seen the waitress 2 times in the whole 2 hours we were there (not by choice). Also asked for a high chair a couple times and never was brought, went and found one myself.

Callear’s roasted a pig for my wedding in May ‘23. They did an amazing job from start to finish. From the roast of the pig itself (phenomenal) to letting our guests take pictures and dressing it up before carving, the service and food could not have been better. Additionally, our carver, Kyle was so kind and adaptive to what we needed on the day to ensure it was special for all involved. Highly recommend if you are looking to do a pig roast at your next event!

Fried pickles are amazing. Staff was not attentive. Had to flag down a waitress and when we told her that we needed to be waited on she had a attitude. When the manager or owner is there the service was way better. He came out numerous times around the restaurant and made sure everyone was taken care of.

Saturday night. Ordered three simple meals. Beef brisket sandwich, sirloin steak sandwich with fries, chicken tenders with side salad. Thought since 2 adults and one toddler we could share fries. On menu says Sirloin burger and fries. Got home. No fries!!?? Brisket was delicious. Sirloin burger was delicious but not dressed as menu states and no fries as menu states. Not a good experience for such a small order.

I have been here 4 times in a week. My job takes me to different states for work. Always trying local food this establishment is beyond Great. The taste of their own BBQ sauce is at the top. I lived in Tennessee for 9 years and have been to BBQ festivals and cook off’s there and Texas. Callears would be right next to others in the top 3. Potato Salad is on point for texture and taste. Brisket was cooked just right. I have had the loaded nachos that has just the right amount of Jalapeños, pulled pork and the chips they make themselves. The staff are very polite, make sure you are taken care of and will bring a small sample of food for you to try. The Sweet Potato Roll was a item I have never had before. Tried theirs and always look forward to it. A great surprise here in Pennsylvania that I will always recommend.

I cannot stress how good the service here is. I have been thinking about it all night! the manager here was by far the best manager I have encountered in such a long time. he made our visit one that I won’t forget! My babies were crying and he brought toys to them from the back! it was the best experience I’ve had in such a long time! keep up the great work!
