About as neighborhood joint as you can get. Burger fries tea and beer pretty much covers the menu. It’s not fast. Laid back, with red vinyl booths. I’d go back.

The staff is family, I’ve helped out around there as a kid seeing as how my grandmother ,Venus ,was their star waitress. Still an amazing establishment and I hope that with the whole coronavirus, that they keep their doors open. Ed is amazing and so kind hearted. If you have an issue with his ketchup rule that makes YOU childish. His fathers recipe for their burgers are superb & I hope to eat here again soon ! Thank you Ed for always making outstanding burgers! Best burgers I’ve ever had in my life ! I miss you all so much ❤️

Been here a few times and was hooked after the first. Truly one of the best burgers I’ve had in my life-definitely in my top 3 and arguably #1. They don’t allow you to put ketchup on the burgers but you don’t want to anyway-it messes with the spices that Ed puts on the burgers. Trust his judgment he is a true master.

The hamburgers are amazing! Best in my life, seriously. Plus, they have world famous chili. The only thing more awesome than the food is Ed behind the grill. He may seem a little gruff, but he has a huge heart.

I love the food and i love the service but if you like ketchup on your burger take it to go because there’s one rule there, you can’t put ketchup on your burger nor can you dip it in ketchup. The cook finds that as an insult and will rather warn you or kick you out depending on his mood and how your acting

Absolute worst service ever. rudeness and over cooked burgers. both the cook and waitress were very rude. I asked for a plate and knife when my hamburger came out. The waitress asked me why I said because I would like to cut my burger in half. She rolled her eyes as if she was so indignant. she then lifted up the thin paper that my burger was on in a basket and put it on the counter and said there now it’s flat. I couldn’t believe it! then I asked can I have a knife too. she brought a knife begrudgingly to me. later I asked if I could have another napkin she turned and asked the cook if it was okay to give me a napkin! Seriously! He yells at me what do you need another napkin for? I said because my hands are dirty. he said well use the one you have. I said it’s already dirty. He said you can still use it. I said are you really not going to give me another napkin and then said relax you can have one. My soda was empty by then and she never offered to refill it or if I wanted another one. not only were they both very rude but their hamburger was overcooked, the bun came from a package that you can buy at a grocery store and the fries tasted like the grease hadn’t been changed out in the fryer for months I will never go back and I will tell 25 of my friends never to go. He didn’t just lose one customer he’s lost about 50 customers. stay away. if they’re trying to be funny and cute they are not they are very rude. Better off to eat at Andys hamburgers in Indio. juicy and tasty Angus beef burgers with friendly service.
