Delicious! I love the atmosphere, the food is beautiful and tasty. The small details of each dish is so unique and delicious. Overall, my dining experience at sap sua was exceptional. The combination of delicious food, friendly service, and inviting ambiance made it a memorable visit. I can’t wait to go back and try more of their delectable offerings.

Was super excited when we called to hear they were open! The space is inviting and crisp. It may be a little loud, but I enjoyed the ambiance. The cocktails were very well put together and complimented the meal. The old spiced was a standout, being bourbon forward, but with a nice spice! Tried many of the appetizers and all were splendid, including the pate, but the shrimp cake was the star with the delightful butter sauce. Impressed with the balance achieved in the sauce/marinade on the pork shoulder. The herbs and greens adding to every dish is something I knew I always wanted, but this is the first place that actually delivered and it added to the delightful nature of each well crafted bite. The desserts were unique, different, and made for a nice end to a very well balanced and bright meal.

Beautiful space and really tasty food! The cabbage, pork steak, and rice porridge were my favorites. You can’t go wrong with any item as all I saw come out looked incredibly tasty. A truly wonderful addition to the neighborhood.

This was my first visit to sap sua, and I cannot recommend it to enough people! We felt like family while we were there. The staff was fantastic, as was the food and cocktails. They answered all our questions and helped us narrow down our choices (we wanted to try it all!!!) The black bean crispy rice was divine, the pork shoulder steak was delicious and tender, and the apricot custard was out of this world!! Thank you for such an amazing meal, we cannot wait to return and try more of the menu!!!

I so wanted to be the Sap Sua hype girl. I hate typing these words. I made my reservation a month from their opening so they’d have a bit of time to work out kinks. I get that it takes time to settle into a new business. There isn’t really any signage for the restaurant aside from a piece of printer paper with small words. There is construction occurring adjacent to the entrance and the smell of exhaust was present throughout the space. We stayed for just under an hour and our server stopped at our table so frequently it felt intrusive. The variety of flavors were incredible, I’d suggest in upgrade in food quality in the proteins to match the pricing. Three menu items and three total drinks over $125. The entrance has a nice ambiance and energy. Cocktails were incredible!!

Just wonderful new restaurant with inspired takes on traditional Vietnamese dishes. I tried the Charred Cabbage, Soft Scrambled Egg, and Shrimp Cale. Such vibrant and comforting flavors. Only small issue is soft scrambled eggs had gone a bit hard and were not so soft as the name implies. Can’t wait to go back and try more.

This is going to be a place that I go to again and again. Anna and Ni have, along with their GM Heeji, have created a beautiful delicious experience with their menu offerings. The food is beyond amazing, and their menu is constantly evolving. The drinks are delicious! The staff is very friendly and approachable. This is going to be a Denver staple and also bring Denver Vietnamese food to a whole new level! <3

Not gonna lie, we were a bit apprehensive going into sap sua given all the hype it’s been getting recently and our past experiences in Denve… but it did not disappoint! Overall presentation was beautiful, the flavors were powerful (in a good way—been to many restaurants in Denver that have had this much hype and meals have fallen flat) and each dish stood out on its own. Our group’s favorite dishes were the steak tartare (reminded me of Thai beef salad) and chicken liver pate (I swear that stuff was just butter). My personal favorite was the shrimp cake, tasted a lot like a big shrimp shumai (Chinese steamed dumpling). Other notable ones were the hamachi crudo and soft scrambled egg—I’d order these dishes 10 more times solely to eat with a side of rice, ha! Dishes that were our least favorite: broccolini (too acid-y), rice porridge (bland), and grass jelly dessert (also lacked some oomf from the jelly).
