Mexicali’s is awesome! The quality is very authentic and the portions are great! Best Mexican restaurant in Western Mass! The ambiance inside was on point. I had the steak Chimichurri street tacos and they were so good!!! The prices were very reasonable also. You have to try it, you won’t be disappointed!

We’ve come to this restaurant a few times, and usually have a decent meal. The issue is when we have the older man, I believe he is the owner, as our waiter. He never writes down our order and consistently gets things wrong. That’s annoying, but today when we went in, he completely forgot our son’s ENTIRE meal. The restaurant was not busy- it was us and maybe 2-3 other tables (we went at 4 pm so we could avoid a dinner rush). It was the very first meal we ordered, before our own. He didn’t come to check on us so we could remind him. We only ate a little of our own meals before we decided to get the check and leave (my wife’s was bland and I was too irritated to eat). We will not be back, as we can’t ever guarantee that we’ll get a competant waiter.

Doesn’t look like the best place from the outside but it was a great experience! The inside was very clean and decorated nicely. The menu had tons of options. The drinks were delicious. I had the Mexican Mule. The food was very good, and cooked perfectly. It’s your basic Mexican place, but if your hungry and looking for solid food at a good price, this is the place for sure.

I’ve been here a few times with my fiancé, family, and friends. There’s one server/ bartender that we all love and is always accommodating, but I’ve recently been put under some hard dietary restrictions. So I went in to order and simply just asked to see the calories/ nutritional information (which weren’t reported on the menu), I was met with confusion, deterrent, and the worst of all, a bad attitude. It’s legally required and when I politely informed them that they had to show upon request per the FDA the guy rolled his eyes at me. Great food but don’t expect to be accommodated in any form or fashion.

Have been here a few times and the food is always good. Stopped in on Saturday for a late dinner and to enjoy a quiet night out. Service was very good always there to refill a drink and to make sure you had all that you needed. The food was very good, will go back again.
