Above average for a chain restaurant. The food was acceptable but nothing outstanding. Service was okay. The server was at least friendly. I just don’t like the commercial feel of some chains and this is one.

The waitress was very sweet but only came to take our order and serve it; we never saw her again.

The place was empty. It was free pie Wednesday and they only had one kind of pie, because the oven was broke. They were out of certain foods. The air conditioning was broken and it was warm. The staff said it wasn’t going to get fixed. It breaks my heart. This use to be my favorite place. I hope they improve soon.

This may be a little biased since my sister works there, but our waitress (who was NOT my sister) was very good, friendly and patient with my parents especially since they don’t speak English very well. The atmosphere of the place could use some work as some of the booth seats had tears that were covered with duct tape. My only real gripe was the slice of peanut butter cup pie I ordered; they changed the recipe and it wasn’t as good as from the last time I had it.

This place has really gone downhill since we first started going there a few years ago. We had not gone in quite a while. There menu is small. But what was interesting was their servers. One was complaining that she had only 2 tables and ours had stolen several tables. However, he wasn’t taking care of his tables. I asked for coffee and never got it. Other tables were getting there salads after their food was served. Another table was told that they were out of brown gravy after they had ordered. It just seemed to be chaotic . No one checked to see how anyone’s food was. I ordered my bacon not crispy and it came out burnt. If you want entertainment with your meal this is the place to go.

Good simple diner breakfast, my eggs were cooked perfectly for how I ordered them. Short staffed for a busy Sunday morning, so a long wait for our food but our server Tasha was friendly and everyone else seemed to be working as fast as they could. Updated decor, clean.

We came with a party of 12, which can sometimes be a challenge. They accommodated us without skipping a beat.

Fantastic service from Amy, food was good but took way too long. What’s the deal with the general manager who I never see doing anything other than occasionally sitting someone or roll silver while on Facebook? Parking lot is a nightmare that needs to be addressed.

We love Village Inns in general and have patronized them since the 1970s and when we pulled into town for fuel it was natural to head to the V.I. for lunch. We should have known something was wrong as the place was virtually empty during the lunch hour and sure enough we were treated to service that wasn’t just bad, it was dismissive and spectacularly rude especially by the hostess and when it became clear that the waitress wasn’t going to be bothering to exert herself by actually serving us (there was only 1 other table occupied in her section of the dining room) we bailed. We are just a couple of retirees passing through in a Subaru with our adult son.
