GREAT PLACE! Staff are so nice and funny here. Place is very convenient for its location. They do have the best empanadas in the state, but I think it’s better than that. It is worth a trip no matter where you are. this business is GREAT!

I took a stroll on Division Street in Somerville, and a sign caught my eye: the best empanadas in New Jersey. My curious taste buds had to see if this was actually true. I’ve had my share of empanadas that were disappointing, but I thought giving this restaurant’s empanadas a try might be worth it. The dough was crispy yet soft; the real beef filling was flavorful and tender. The right amount of filling to curb your appetite before lunch. The cilantro and bell pepper sauce was excellent. It was a great pairing with the empanadas added mild heat for an extra punch of flavor. If you’re in doubt about whether or not to get the sauce; get it. I will definitely be back for beef empanadas and excited to try their sweet empanadas.

The food was great! Empanadas are really really good. We tried different variety of empanadas and all were very good. The best was option of vegetarian empanada. It’s a BYOB place so that’s a plus. The location is fantastic on a vibrant street.

Tried it for the first time for lunch and loved it! Staff were welcoming and the food was great. The empanadas are a definite must try — I recommend the beef chipotle. We took some to go afterwards, too. Dulce de Leche coffee was pretty decent, & we also had the Lomito Sandwich & Gallo Pinto. Overall very filling and delicious!

I’ve been here a few times to dine in. Waitstaff are usually nice. But whoever is running the front cashier area where the empanada are to go are disgustingly nasty and rude for no reason. It’s guy and girl they look to be related not sure tho. I said hello to the girl and she didn’t acknowledge me and just rolled her eyes at me. All the savory flavors I wanted were sold out I asked if they’ll be making more since it was around lunchtime she said no. Kinda odd to not make anymore when it’s still early in the day but whatever. I asked for a Nutella empanada and she said they were sold out even tho there was one in the window. She didn’t bother to try and look up from her phone. Ask for a different flavor and it was disgusting dry and stale. Really disappointed since they usually make the empanadas good but lately they’ve been going downhill. I did nothing to her and people don’t deserve to be treated like that and if it’s not obvious the front people are ruining your business.if I could I give zero stars I won’t be back

Absolutely stellar! My god the sweet potato omelette? So weird: so goooood. The veggie omlet: perfect. Service was attentive. Outdoor seating is shaded with umbrellas. We were absolutely delighted at the quality here.
