Ordered delivery which took awhile and that’s fine. Called to just inquire and the person was rude and said it had been delivered but that’s not true. We have cameras. When on the phone inquiring, the delivery driver showed up and it’s cold which we are also ok with because that’s normal. However we didn’t get everything we paid for and there was no sauce on the pizza. Wish Powhatan could get decent pizza delivery.

Got 2 pizzas to go at 3:30 on a Tuesday… move in day always calls for pizza… but they took over a half hour and the crust was insanely soggy. Staff was kind but the pizza isn’t good. Probably won’t be back unless there is a place worse.

The last couple of times we’ve been in for dinner, the place is empty. We usually go during the week, to find about 2-3 other tables occupied. Im beginning to wonder if it’s the atmosphere in the restaurant. During our last visit a waitress had her toddler with her as she worked. The child was following another waitress to tables, a cook was coming out from the kitchen to check on the toddler from time to time to see if the toddler was staying stationed at the table they had set up for the child. However, the child was wondering from the kitchen to the dining room constantly. The health dept. Definitely wouldn’t approve.

We have lived in Powhatan for 7 + years and the old Italian delight before the new owners took over was FANTASTIC, since the new owners took over it has gone downhill. We don’t order out much but usually this is the place we go. We ordered 2 items tonight a Milano pizza and mozzarella sticks.

Places clean with a homey atmosphere. Prices very reasonable. Staff is friendly. I think they are under recognized… They can go full Italian authentic with dinner entrees as well as Italian-American on lunch specials depending on what you’re in the mood for. Servings are very generous. Highly recommend the steak and cheese roll or Stromboli for lunch… large can feed three…no kidding.
