Went here with a friend and was not the best experience. Staff took forever to get to us/check on us. I’m not impatient, so it wasn’t too big of a deal. My friend also received his drink in a dirty glass with lipstick on it. The food was good and our waitress was very nice and did her best. Not sure I’ll return though.

On St. Patrick’s Day my husband and I met at Hopscotch for a quick bite before the comedy show upstairs at Blue Door. It was of course very busy, but we were greeted warmly and seated quickly. You don’t get full mela here, but rather appetizers. But they do fill you up without leaving you with that of a pillow and blanket. We had the coconut shrimp with pineapple coconut mayo, hop sliders and cheese ravioli. Everything was delicious! My only recommendation would be to serve garlic toast with the ravioli. The atmosphere is cozy without feeling claustrophobic. The lights are are dim, which did require us older folks to use the flashlights on our phones to see the menus. Water was served ice cold in an a milk bottle with mason jars to drink from. I love that! The cocktails were well crafted. The manager, Tony, stopped to see that we were enjoying our first time visit. The staff is friendly and polite. I’m looking forward to my next visit!

Attentive servers and yummy food. They have tapas: sharable dishes. We got the burrata, calimari, and the special of the day parmesean crusted cod over crab cakes with a white sauce. Yum…. they do not have sweet tea tho…. i know right i was shocked. Lol

Hopscotch has this wonderful upscale vibe while maintaining a cool, casual atmosphere. Had the Brussels Sprouts appetizer … delicious! And then had the cauliflower pizza… again, delicious! ❤️ Gainesville square!

The waitress recommended the Brussel Sprouts! Great recommendation. I paired it with the out and out Mimosa. The sidewalk dining was glorious. No pressure. I sat and enjoyed the friendly open vibe. It felt so relaxed and ideal. And the food was super tasty.

Whether you’re just getting off work and want to hangout or having a fun night out with friends, you won’t find a better spot to go to.
