Wanted to try this place because china wok was closed . I ordered a basic entree from the menu, grilled chicken breast with fillers (rice/beans etc.) . My total was 22$ and some change , and what I received is less than a half of a box of food . I even made it a point to ask the man at the register what makes this so expensive , as I was not expecting to pay over 20$ and I was told word for word that it is ‘Alot of food’ …….This is maybe 10$ worth of food when considering the restaurants in the immediate vicinity of this place, and when considering the quality of this food. If you’re looking for good food without spending an arm and a leg , DONT look here . This is okay food for a rip off price .

El trompo is a fantastic and delicious restaurant. The food is incredible all across the menu—the street tacos, the Gorditas, the burritos, and their breakfast. They have delicious drinks, lovely people working there as well. It is truly a standout place and one of the only Mexican restaurants I go to around here. I live a bit far away and it’s worth the drive every time. 10/10

Small shop – super size delivery of authentic and delicious Mexican staples. I can’t seem to get passed their al pastor sopes! So, so good. I typically get mine without lettuce and their hot salsa is a must. Also love that they set the table with a placemat just prior to food delivery…as well as their use of logo-ed, blue & white colored plates to serve freshly made dishes on. Don’t get discouraged by the looks of this strip (mall) – this place is worth the trip!

The tacos here were very good and reasonably priced! I got the slow cooked beef, beef ribs, and chicken taco. All of them were delicious, but my favorite was probably the beef ribs. There sauces were also good. They have a mild, medium, and hot. I tried both the medium and the hot and the hot was definitely my favorite. It wasn’t overly spicy.
