Very small , basic cafe , pretty earthy , you can sit and dine defiantly, fresh in house bakery is good , I had chilli paneer chowmein (7/10) veggie burger(7/10) and tikki chat(4/10) with a slice of fruit cake (8/10 ), it was good I enjoyed . Neat n clean . Good quick bite

Tried the delicious Irani chai here! This place takes me back to the authentic irani bakeries that have the best cookie recipes. The food is amazing! The chole plates and chat is perfect! Dont let the humble vibe let you think otherwise! The chef’s recipes come from his learnings and experiences from the most renowned places in India!

Their Delhi espresso is very close to India’s filter coffee. So whenever I crave for some filter coffee I head to this place. Their parathas are decent. Did not like their omelette. My fellow vegetarians, I could smell meat in my veggie omelette. Not sure what it was, they probably made omelette on same surface they fried meat on. But I couldn’t miss it and that was the last time I ate anything here. But I still come here for their Delhi espresso which is and they have outdoor sitting so we take our dog sometimes for coffee.

At 1 pm, we were the only guests. There was no one in the restaurant to take our order, we had to knock on the kitchen to get help. The person who took our order missed tea from our order, one of the dishes was not what we ordered (however they made it again when we pointed it out to them). The food was bland and not very tasty. While eating there was no one from the restaurant staff around us to provide any service. We could not find water. It is unclear if they are a fastfood or a dine in place at the time or ordering, the cash register has options for tip options starting at 20%. The food was served in take away containers with the lids left open and placed at the bottom. Felt like they were doing us a favor by giving food. Never going back again.

We were looking for chai in Santa Clara and came across this joint. Apparently, they are owned by the same folks who own Kabab and Curry. They have many types of chai and puffed pastries. Masala and Irani chai were good. $6 for a small cup of Irani Chai seemed very pricey.

My favorite Indian style bakery in the Bay area. They have so many unique items that are only available here at-least from my perspective. They carry Irani Chai, five different types of puffs, multiple different cookies, and freshly baked cakes. They also carry lot of quick Indian food options. It’s slightly in pricier side, but the quality and options are worth the price. Located in Santa clara with Ample parking available. A beautiful place to chill out.
