Delicious vegan options. Garden party ramen has an amazing creamy mushroom broth, good assortment of vegetables and spinach noodles. Vegan bao buns with eggplant katsu were yummy as well. Stir fry was good, portion size seemed small but it was filling.

There’s a parking lot reserved for Harumama next to the restaurant. No reservations available so I recommend that you get here by 5pm during the weekend. We had a party of 9 and was told we’d need to wait for 45min for a table inside so we decided to sit outside with the heater. There were about at least 15 families that lined up after us. Food came out kinda quick and service was good. All the ramen bowls we ordered were delicious (Fat duck, Flying pig, Crispy chickie, Haru non-spicy for kids). For buns, we liked the Bunny Buns(Nutella) and Pig buns but didn’t like the Chicken buns much. We also liked the Duck Bao Bao bun. Don’t get the Kurobuta Bao Bao since it tastes like a mini hot dog, nothing special. Definitely will be back when we’re in the Carlsbad area. They also auto-charge 20% gratuity on top of the bill (maybe not for smaller party?).

The Buns were amazing so whimsical and actually tasted delicious However we also ordered the Ramen and it was by far one of the worst things I’ve ever tasted. It looked presentable enough but the flavor literally tasted like water with some chicken flavoring tossed onto it. We asked to pay and did not like it at all luckily the Manager was an amazing guy and fully refunded the Ramen again maybe it was just me . But definitely do come for the bund they are adorable and are truly delicious

Wanted to try harumama for a couple month now and can say i was not disappointed. The hot buns in shape of animal were not only super cute but packed with flavor. I had my toddler with me who absolutely loved the puppy churro flavor one. The seaweed salad was very delicious and the haru ramen had a nice well balance broth. The tofu had time to soak up the broth and it was great. The waiter was very friendly as well as patient with my child

Very nice Ramen shop next to Blue Ocean Robata in Carlsbad Village. Blue Ocean hadn’t opened yet and we met another couple looking for Harumama so we followed them. Lucky choice! Excellent Ramen broths, full bowls, interesting sides and appetizers and Character Buns. So now there are two great choices right next to each other, Harumama and Blue Ocean Robata.
