By far the best meal we have had in NC so far! Such a lovely place full of lovely people. The cod was excellent – and that’s coming from someone who is not a seafood guy! Me on the other hand, full-time seafood lover who loved my dish too. We are thinking of moving down here in a few years and are looking forward to coming back to try more. Our server was such a doll. Such a sweet girl. Ashley H is the type of server that will make your experience at Squid’s the most memorable. She gave us free dessert but unfortunately I didn’t get to take a picture because we went full pig on it instantly. Loved this place 12/10!

Squids is a very nice seafood restaurant. If you like seafood this is the place for you. I had the branzino and my wife had the grilled shrimp .The service was outstanding and the food was memorable. We will be back.

Squids is really good. I’ve been going to Squids for many years. I love the popcorn shrimp. I gave it four stars, because sometimes, the flounder is a little dry. The hush puppies are so good, they are dangerous. I love the cole slaw. I recommend this restaurant in Chapel Hill.

Awesome food! Buffalo shrimp appetizer was so good! I had fried oysters with roasted potatoes. The oysters were cooked perfectly..potatoes tender and delicious! The coleslaw and hushpuppies were delicious as well! A little pricey but not too bad. Highly recommend!

Not the best seafood I’ve ever had but it was cooked well. The lobster in the lobster bisque was tender and delicious and the crab legs were steamed just right. The specials all looked great, and the shrimp and asiago grits we’re good. Enjoyed the atmosphere and even through we had a server in training the service was good. Also the hush puppies are like donuts.

Very good seafood in a nice,family friendly atmosphere. There are outside seating too. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Bar looked good and there are a few tables in there also. Only minutes away from Durham,I will be going back again!
