Recently I decided to try a new restaurant I’ve seen in my travels but it wasn’t open during those times. However today a friend of mine and I felt the weather was perfect for discovering a new place. As I normally do I read reviews and looked at photos to acquaint myself with the venue, and compare it to my own experiences after dining there.

This is definitely a hidden gem. The inside is beautiful and charming. Great outside views from the patio. Had the breakfast burger and thoroughly enjoyed it. Great brunch menu and specialty cocktails. All of the staff were super friendly and helpful. Definitely will be back soon! Highly recommend!

This is a great local place to check out on your trip to Upper Black Eddy, I definitely suggest coming here for dinner to enjoy some of their great food and drinks! Their menu seems to be a little bit of everything so they definitely have something that you’ll like. Something of a American Fusion style menu. Some great views across the road we are outside and had a great time!

Hidden gem along the Delaware! The Fish and Chips were excellent, big pieces of fish, and the fries were tasty. Short rib pasta was a little light on short rib for the price, but was also tasty. Dinning room was roomy, clean and tastefully decorated. But the views were the star of the show. The windows behind the bar look out on the shear face of the hillside, which was surprisingly interesting. And the windows in the dining room look out to the Delware. We had a stunning view of New Jersey across the river and the sunsetting from our seats.

Omg delicious especially the Crab Dip, House Baked bread and wedge salad. Hubby had Prime NY Strip meal was very good. Our waitress and all of the staff were very nice. Manager came over and talked to us which was a nice touch. View of the river nice quaint location.

It was a really good dinner! The entire restaurant looks well cared for! Rustic but clean. A resent renovation in the canal room makes for a cozy dining room. Not my tastes, wall paper was a too busy. Many tables over look the mighty Delaware River. When the outdoor patio opens, it will be a grand spot for a view of the river. Our server Bri was spot on with her timing. We had the steak Frites and Aranici for dinner. Appys were French onion soup and the oysters Rockefeller. Soup was really good, oysters a little dry, nice presentation though. I’m a salt fan, the oysters sat in a pile of salt with pink pepper corns. Frys were super yummy!

Reilly waited on us and was very attentive, informative and courteous. Drinks arrived and brunch not long after. The food was prepared well and was hot when we received it. We were impressed at the makeover from the Old Indian Rock Inn and were suprised “The Narrows” has been open for 4 years already. Glad to put it on the destination list!

Excellent service. Attentive, friendly, knowledgeable, and silent during dining. More than once staff came by to make sure we were enjoying their food and didn’t need anything else. The location is accessible and we did not need a reservation on a Thurday dinner time though the restaurant was full. Highly recommend this location whether you are looking for a quick bite or a slow casual quality dinner/drinks with friends and family.

I’m new to the area and trying out the local establishments. I went to the Narrows for lunch and liked it so much I went back for dinner the next week. The vibe is very cool inside – nicer than a traditional bar, but not fancy/ stodgy like so many of the Bucks County inns / restaurants. The menu is fun, interesting, and varied – curated to provide options without being overwhelming. Beer and cocktail selection are great! Food is very good for the price – my favorite has emerged to be the sweet potato tacos. Setting is, of course, lovely along the river and canal.
