They use too prepare the food fresh and its doesn’t taste authentic anymore. Now everything taste like it came from the salsa jars and store shelves (tortillas) instead of the freshly cooked in the kitchen. It used to be known for its good food. Parking is street parking and the neighborhood is gentrified.

Great El Salvadorian owned restaurant offering El Salvadorian and Mexican dishes. The Karioke is so much fun!!! The drinks are nice and strong! They also host the areas best local rock’n’roll bands. And since March, they’re home to the DC Jazz Jam, one of the area’s most exciting scene where creative music is allowed to thrive.

The worst place you can eat at! Do not come here unless you want the worst service and to be assaulted by Waiter Glenda. I used to recommend all my friend to come eat here 2 years ago when customer service was good because the food is amazing. But recently the service has been so bad. The lady who works here named Glenda at the night shift yesterday on April 1 was so hostile and rude. The second me and my friend came in she looked us up and down and was rolling her eyes. We greeted her and informed her of what we ordered which was shrimp quesadilla and salmon fajitas and fries. When my friend asked for accommodations as she is avoiding dairy the lady rolled her eyes at her. When the food arrived the fries were nearly burnt and brown. We kindly asked for replacement and she told us that is how the fries are and we can’t do anything about it. It was my friends birthday I had informed her I wanted to make it special for her. The lady walked away and soon we called over a the male waiter who was kind to us, we informed him if we can order something else as my friend stated the salmon tasted weird and the fries were burnt. The lady Glenda interrupted us and intruded in the conversation with her arms crossed asking what is the problem!? After the male waiter explained she reached out snatched the plates from my friend and came back and snatched my plate from my hand and when I told her I’m still eating she said “No You are DONE!”. Keep in mind I informed her before I liked my food and there was no issue with it it was my friends who wanted to order something else. So why did she snatch the plate and fork out of my hand while I was eating? This Glenda is very rude and she will chase all the customers away. My friend cried that night as we had traveled so far to come eat here only for us to be harassed and assaulted by this lady.
