I ate a delicious and filling “late lunch” yesterday [9-21-2022] at Ninja Grill [Poke and Hibachi] at 9 E. Lane Ave. in the “University District” neighborhood of Columbus. I had been in that neighborhood for another reason [a “Peace and Pizza” “student outreach event” half a mile away at my local Quaker Meeting] so I had decided to eat at Ninja Grill before returning home.

Very pleasantly surprised with my first experience here tonight. I ordered the shrimp hibachi rice with vegetables. The issue I have with many takeout hibachi restaurants is that the food is lacking the traditional flavors – I can clearly taste the ginger and sesame oil in the food and the dressings. Everything is flavorful and fresh, the restaurant was clean and staff was friendly.

I love this place it brings me happiness and I love the steak with rice and their sauce is rlly good. They made it in like less than 10 minutes and the plate is huge. I would eat this everyday if I could. Thank u ninja grill for bringing me life.

I think the first time I came here I knew it was my new go to for hibachi. Not only is it so well done, but the price is amazing! I have been here around 4 or 5 times now and have yet to have a bad experience. The hibachi is cooked to perfection and so customized to the buyers wishes that it makes it hard to beat. Honestly this is the best poke and hibachi I’ve had in Columbus.

This is where me and the wife love to come for a good but inexpensive lunch or meal. The staff is very pleasant. My wife loves the tempera shrimp. Today we had the tofu over fried rice and mixed vegetables, so good……this is a regular spot for us
