Went there for breakfast. Service with a smile. Food came out fast and hot. Great place for a quick bite. Always open.

Solid breakfast, attentive wait staff. Seating can be odd/complicated or lacking. Just head in and seat yourself. Don’t bother with the claw machine.

This is an older truck stop with plenty of parking. Clean and has a good reasonable priced variety menu plus a very low priced children’s menu. Generous portions of food even for the children’s menu. It’s been 30 years since I’ve been there but will return every other sunday. Friendly staff, good service and all out diverse place to go. Besides truck drivers, locals also frequent this restaurant. My advice is give it a try and I’m sure you won’t be disappointed.

I really enjoy dining at this spot. Food is decent and prices are reasonable. They have all you can eat haddock on Friday during lent and breakfast buffet on mother’s day and other holidays, totally worth checking out. There corn beef hash is homemade, so are the mashed potatoes which i lived off of while i was pregnant

The waitress tried to keep up and her service was much appreciated. However the cook and owners husband had a very bad attitude. Slamming plates full of food cussing and swearing. Couldn’t even get our order right. Watched the waitress write it down so know she did her job. Ordered omlet with sausage bacon ham and gravy over hash browns. Got sausage omlet no gravy. I don’t care if you are the owners husband that is extremely inappropriate. Will not ever go back wonder how this place keeps any staff or customers

Once again I called Anthony at the last minute for catering. Once again they came through big time. The food was very fresh ..the fruit cup was sensational…the sandwiches were good. They remembered to include something gluten free for my wife. The price was very reasonable. I will continue to use Anthony for my events because he is top notch.

First and last time I’ll ever go there. Perhaps it was me going 11:20pm on a Saturday night but that should never explain the “ridiculous” rules I as a guest see posted all over the restaurant. It looks and feels like a run down place. But I left without ordering food after sitting at the counter for almost 5 minutes without being greeted. The waitress on duty made eye contact with me and still had a scowl on her face looking miserable. There was no attempt at a hello or welcome, she dropped off menus to another table that came in after me and working in this industry myself I knew my money could be better spent somewhere else.

Place is an absolute dive and the food is disgusting! They used to have great cakes which was their only redeeming quality but now that they have discontinued them so there is no reason to stay in business. They also own Gee Gees on Court Street which is just as bad. What a shame! The owners don’t care about the customers and they hire derelicts.

This is a truly rare find. A local restaurant serving local food at affordable prices. The fiod is great, the service is ranges from ok to great. They don’t skimp on the quality or portion sizes. You will see groups of men meet of breakfast, families, workers, a truckers. Location is adjacent to an independent truck stop and shops. If looking for fancy go somewhere else. If looking for a great meal this is the place.
