Had them as room service at the Elms hotel and they charged me well over $500 for raw steak, burnt Brussels sprouts that were raw after the burn, a skimpy charcuterie plate and all out disappointment. The server was rude and impatient and seemed annoyed with us for asking for silverware. Ughh. We should have just went to Applebee’s in town. The three owls is an overpriced, terrible food (I mean what meth head did they hire to be chef?) Rude service . See $200 worth of charcuterie below. I could’ve made myself or stopped at Walmart or Hy-Vee for a bigger charcuterie for far less $.

Very Nice Atmosphere. Service Good. Specialty Drinks Great. Food was Good, EXCEPT for my Ribeye Steak. (Special Occasion and did not want to disrupt our time by sending it back). I asked for Medium, with which the Server asked, Warm Pink in the middle. I responded Yes. It ended up, what I refer to, Medium Rare. Red in the Center and maybe room temp. Steak was tough and chewy. VERY DISAPPOINTING!!!

Three Owls definitely surpassed all my expectations. There appears to be new management (around Nov 2022) since many people reviewed in the past. Every dish we had through multiple meals was great. It’s not cheap but it’s not overpriced at all for what you get.

My husband and I stayed at the Elms for a staycation and had a wonderful experience at Three Owls! We had breakfast, lunch, and dinner here and each meal was delicious!! The service was great at each visit as well. Sat by the fire and had a lovely time. Highly recommend.

Service was very good but that’s about it. Paid 48.00$ for a tasteless tough filet sides are Ala carte, mashed potatoes were 8.00$ and were INSTANT mashed and served luke warm at best. Pork chop was good but ordered Ala carte “chefs” risotto that was suppose to be apple and rosemary. It had absolutely nothing in it! Never again. Hotel is awesome but won’t patronize the restaurant.

My family and I went this afternoon after making a reservation on Tock. We were excited to have a nice lunch before heading to the Water Fest in downtown Excelsior Springs. Unfortunately, both the food and service were severely lacking in what a boutique hotel should offer.

Delicious, flavorful! Enjoyed the Wagyu steak with Brussel sprouts. Pork shoulder with blueberry bbq sauce is to die for! Wonderful service also. So glad we came. Thank you!
