We went for breakfast. Biscuits and gravy are good. Bacon and eggs are fixed well. Ton’s of fried potatoes. I was a bit taken by several of their prices for some things. I know things cost more now, but some of the items shouldn’t be that much. I’d definitely go back though.

It’s a bit of a ‘hole in the wall’ but we usually like those because they are locally owned. They had some personnel problems due to illness so I can’t really blame them for that. They also had road construction right at their main entrance they is not their fault either. I thought at first it was a quaint place to get do comfort food. And I think we did that. It’s just the food was just OK and I expected more. It’s probably just me or me on that day (we were very tired). I really wanted to love this place and that may have set my expectations too high (also not their fault). If we ever get back Olathe, we will try it again and I will update this review accordingly.

Traveling through from Orlando, Florida. This is a wonderful, quaint place to have breakfast. Jordan was a wonderful server, and the food was excellent! I especially and absolutely loved the berries when I asked for fruit! Coffee was excellent and the food is amazing. Highly, highly recommend!

Food was cold, inedible for the most part. I ate the eggs as was starving. They were overwhelmed with people. they reorded the French toast. It was only thing I had was warm. Pretty sure waitress left our food sit in the window as other people got there food way before we did and arrived later. They were not willing to comp my meal. Gave me 20%off of it($4). I was not satisfied with the way it was run, the food or service. The waitress was willing to comp the meal, but management said no. Won’t be back.

Best breakfast spot around. Hardest part is trying to decide what to get because everything I’ve had is fantastic! Small town diner with great food, great service, ample portions, and discount if you pay cash instead of card. Keep your $$ local. You won’t be disappointed.

Todd’s use to be one of our favorite restaurants in town but since it was sold and became Trails Cafe it’s very sad, went there yesterday thinking I’d splurge on Easter. Unfortunately, the food was hardly eatable. The fried potatoes are like chunks not peeled and were burnt(they did replace them but still not real great). I had gotten things to take home for later and it had to be thrown away. The pancake tasted Nothing like a pancake and even with syrup I couldn’t eat it and the biscuit and gravy tasted like wallpaper paste. Fast food places in town taste far better than Trails these days!
