This place was one of my favorites to order sushi to go. But one day I decided to eat there inside the place with my daughter. The waiter service was terrible. He took my plates of food without asking before I finished eating with food inside. And he gave me the bill to pay and I left my card for him to do. But I neglected myself with a call. I thought he charged my account.I got confused and by fact they charged me. Because he was above us moving the plates even the ones that still had unfinished food. I made the mistake of getting up from the table to leave because I continued with my call. The owner accosted me and with no manners in front of the customers around… to question If I paid the bill… I told him, well, I think that bcuz I left my card and he was supposed to take charge… And the waiter didn’t tell me the food was paid in front either. I’m on a call very distracted, My point is that the waiter service there is not good and because of that the owner embarrassed me because I was focused on my call. And the waiter was doing a job out of character. Bad services to eat inside. I do not recommend it. Just to go. And as long as you don’t make a mistake because of them. The owner is like poison in a small bottle. He doesn’t have a nice to tell you something like that.

My family and I love this place. Sushi rolls are a pretty good portion. Price is okay not too expensive. The only reason I give it 4 stars not 5 is because both of my last visit my orders have not been inputted correctly. Either they did not put it in or the pit the wrong roll in, other than that it good. I will definitely visit them again

Giving this 5 stars because of the sushi places that I’ve eaten at on the peninsula, this rates highly. While their fare is by no means authentic, it does all taste great and it’s supported by lovely service from the staff and you can always enjoy a cold beer to wash things down. Will be back.

I live near by and I have enjoyed madfish for a long i highly recommend due to the friendly staff excellent customer service and location can get pretty busy but still well staffed as to crank out some amazing Sushi and even better bento box combo’s

Love the food! and I always do… I usually order takeout but today I decided to go in with my family.. I got up to pay after we finished and couldn’t put down a tip like we usually do. I didn’t think anything of it until the woman at the cashier told us to put a cash tip on the table since we didn’t put a tip on card. I understand some restaurants require tips but it’s usually already put on your receipt, and at Madfish it’s usually an option. She spoke to us in a manner so ugly and rude, telling us that that her and the kitchen staff didn’t want to work for nothing. The cash tip we would’ve left after she asked for it was out of the picture, my father tried to explain we usually always tip, that this time we couldn’t but she responded saying that we never tip. I felt so upset after, my family and I have loved coming here for years but now we might have to stick to take out if it means we’ll be rudely forced to put a tip.

This is the second time they messed my order. The first time they brought me something I didn’t want and last Friday I ordered a bento box and the lady brought me two different orders. When I asked her what happened with my bento box she said that the roll I selected was not in the bento box. She didn’t mentioned this when she took my order and I even repeated my order to her at the beginning. I used to love this place but now I am not planning to go back again. Disappointed ☹️

I’ve had better sushi before for this price. I give it a 3 bc my order wasn’t correct and deep fried sushi was too oily for me. For all this was $40. However I had a promo code $10off. I still think thats too high for this much but thats just me. I won’t be coming back soon.
