The best place ever. We always find a reason to come here. The Veal Milanese and Short Ribs are a must. As is the calamari. Just be caregul with the drinks- Karen is very generous so we usually stumble home after just one. Make your plans to come try this Wickford legend.

Great food, not so great experience. Recently ordered dinner which came with a side of focaccia bread. While biting into the bread, a few of us hurt our teeth as we bit into abnormally sized chunks of salt. I called the restaurant to explain what happened and was told by a staff member: “Was it the focaccia bread? Yup, that’s how he makes it every time and personally, that’s why I don’t eat it”. If the staff members don’t enjoy chewing on large chunks of salt, what makes them think their customers will?

We live in Wickford and no matter where we end up eating dinner through the area, we always end at Tate’s for dessert and drinks. Lovely staff and a homey atmosphere match the quality of drinks and food. Love this place!

LOVED my fluke dinner. All my compadres loved their dishes as well. Best food I have had in a long time. Lovely serving staff. A bit hard to have a conversation. Acoustics couldn’t support the din.
