Above average food..We had the taco plate. the tacos were great but the beans lacked tase and rice was extremely wet.

First time did not disappoint! We tried 8 different tacos: barbacoa was so good, chicken was juicy but not flavorful, steak was great flavor but a little over cooked (still delish), pastor was different but we both really liked it, chicharrón was surprisingly a favorite!, carnitas… *chefs kiss*, pablano was a good vegetarian option, & the lengua (cow tongue) was very very good if you like that softer texture of meat. Green sauce = red sauce = . Rice & beans were boring, kind of flavorless, but standard.

I had been wanting to try this place for a while, but leaving the grocery store next door with a car full of groceries was just too convicting! I finally had the chance to go with a friend and it did not disappoint!

We were going back to Alvarado, TX from Winstar Casino…we were hungry, we initially stopped at Chili’s, but we seen this restaurant at a distance. We were not disappointed, we ordered tortas, flautas, and elote. All very good. The only negative, they are not willing to substitute.

I rarely write reviews under 4 stars but this place was really meh. If it hadn’t been 113° outside I definitely would have kept walking to the chipotle. Quesadilla wasn’t cooked all the way through so the cheese was cold and not melted (seriously easiest thing in the world to make. Not sure how they managed to botch it) my carne asada was super gristly and had hardly any flavor but luckily their red salsa saved the day. It was delicious.

I was impressed with the food at this new location. Everything tasted very fresh. The Carne Guisada was very good. I have also had a burrito and it was also very good and fresh. My only complaint would be having to spend an additional $3.50 to get chips and salsa when dining in.

Great food, authentic flavor! Definitely could be a bit cleaner in there. But there is only one girl running the front and she was super nice. I’ll definitely be back!

Ordered 2 burritos. All the meat is clearly burnt. Like they used burnt up scrapes. Not even edible. Worse burritos I’ve had. Not coming here again

This place is not good. I got 3 al pastor and 2 barbacoa tacos. I guess I have really high expectations considering I’m Mexican and my mom makes amazing food. Either way the tacos were bland and extremely oily. When I ate a taco I could feel my lips get oily instantly. It was gross. They took a long time to prepare the food even though my roommate and me were the only ones there at night. It wasn’t terribly expensive. Just not worth going if you have high expectations when it comes to Mexican food. Time to find another taqueria. They also ran out of tomatillo salsa. They only had red salsa and they really don’t like giving out limes.
