I am visiting with my son & his wife while getting immunotherapy infusion treatments at Penn Medicine … they always treat me to incredibly delicious food from local restaurants … I had the Chicken Enchiladas with Refried Beans, Rice & Guacamole … it was the first time I had Enchiladas and I loved these … so beautiful flavor … the food was delivered warm too which makes a huge difference … if you’re in the area I would recommend Cafe Ynez … try them and have smiling tastebuds …

Loved the Steak burrito, the meat was so flavorful! Salsa was just the right amount of spicy!!! I was actually looking for a taco truck that was closed that day. I wanted something that I could eat right quick in the car. I thought it would be about another flavorless restaurant! Oh, the suprise! We bought 3 different burritos, and they where all good. Price is worth it!

Love the ambiance and the server was so attentive. We ordered carnitas nachos, steak tacos and a tinga torta with fries. We live pretty close by and was happy to finally try it. Make sure to check the ticket closely since they add 20% gratuity. We almost added another 20% until one of our friends noticed the ticket with the added tip. Kinda odd for a table for 3.

Bland, flavorless, and soulless food. Overpriced beyond belief. Avoid and go elsewhere. I was completely unimpressed with this place. I can’t stress how bad the food was. Also they tack on an automatic gratuity then have the nerve to ask for another tip!

Food is excellent. Service is superior to all other restaurants around. Carlos is the best. I went to Cafe Ynez over the weekend (5-19-18), the word is out. This place has amazing food. It is getting very popular. I have been back several times since my first review. And I just want to say that everything here is constantly good. I never had a bad meal at Cafe Ynez. Ricardo is in charge now and he is great. He is very helpful especially when you have a picky eater or dietary restrictions. My latest visit was June 2023.

Excellent food, excellent atmosphere. I had the steak fajitas and my girlfriend had the chicken tinga burrito. Both were out of this world. Also started with the empanadas which are a must. Dessert was also great. Will be back many times.

Nice and friendly staff. Had a steak burrito and their enchiladas. Although it was a good amount of food for the price, the burrito’s flavors felt very American with the lettuce and the ranch — wasn’t appetizing; fries came out soggy. Enchilada sauce seemed fresh and not canned.

At this place I checked it out on my lunch break, I ordered an appetizer of beef nachos and they charged me as it was a whole meal. Expensive for no reason they need to bring their prices down also they take too much of gratuity so I guess that’s your tip.

The best Mexican restaurant in Philly, a true hidden gem. I had the veggie enchilada and my date got the pork belly tacos. Both were absolutely fantastic! The horchata here is really good as well.
