I never write reviews however I had to for this one. The pizza was okay at best. However, after eating my mother and I were standing outside chatting with another fellow customer when a worker come up to me to ask if I had paid for the slices. It is common practice to order your items upfront, pay for them, and then sit down to wait for the food. I felt completely insulted and humiliated. This was my first time here, and for that it will be my last.

I love their pizza, their spinach slice is actually taste (spinach is sautéed) unlike other pizzerias that add spinach without any flavor. The chicken marsala slice us absolutely delicious – perfect flavor and crust. I’ve worked in the area for years and just found this place, now I go whenever I’m in the area.

I ordered a chicken parmigiana to go. On the board it says you have a choice of soup or salad. I chose a salad. Arrive home. There is chicken parm and a salad but no pasta.

Meh. I’ve had better for cheaper. The breading was too thick and it has a lot of cornmeal to add texture I think but doesn’t amount to a good flavor in my opinion. The tomato sauce on the cheese pizza didn’t taste very good. I was hungry and I normally don’t like to waste but this is what will be going in the trash.

Sophias, Pizza and pasta is really a hidden gem. You wouldn’t expect much looking at the exterior, but when you walk in, you are immediately greeted by incredible service and a friendly face. The food was off the charts, and my family is always begging for Sophia’s every Friday. The food is fresh and prepared with care. The counter guy is funny and genuine, and will take the time to remember your name. Highly recommended!!
