Beautiful little restaurant and bar. I really liked walked down the street it was in. Lots of old buildings to look at. The staff were all friendly and efficient. Everything that was ordered was amazing. The maple bourbon pork chop that I ate was the best pork chop I’ve ever had! Seriously! I highly recommend stopping here if you are close by or passing by on I68 in either direction.

Reservations are recommended. The filet was wonderful, the brie appetizer was not as good. The bread used in the appetizer was burned on one side and diminished the flavor of the dish. The service was excellent and the atmosphere, we were on the lower level near the bar, was cozy. We would come back again

We were traveling through the area and wanted a local restaurant. It was in an area undergoing a major road upgrade which made it a slight challenge to get to but was definitely worth any inconvenience. The service was as quick and the food was delicious. If we were residents in the area we would certainly be regulars.

Better than expected in this old school feeling restaurant. Three of us ordered bacon-wrapped fillets which were tasty and perfectly cooked. Others ordered crab cake sandwich, burger and salmon, and all were on point. Waitress was friendly, but service could have been better/faster.

Brussel Sprouts appetizer is incredible. Menu for lunch is rather limited, but food is good..son had the crab cake sandwich and said it was a bit salty, over seasoned. Several items we saw on the website menu were not available for lunch. We have been here before … good half way meeting spot to visit with family for lunch..

Had lunch today and must say it was a great meal. The Brussels sprouts were amazing and loaded with bacon. The cream of crab soup was to perfection and the bacon cheeseburger was delicious. Service was great and very friendly. Would highly recommend if you have a chance to eat here.
