Loved it! Got 2 fish tacos for $1.99 each and they came with coleslaw and pico and several different sauces to choose from. Then, a boy came selling flan and it was the best fan I’ve ever tasted.

Love this place always have!!! When I lived in Tucson I used to come here frequently it was close to where I used to live. Haven’t been to Tucson in 4 years and it’s still as good as it was best shrimp tacos I’ve ever had. And their salsas are exquisite.

Food and service was very good. Ingredients were fresh. The fish tacos were really good. Crunchy fried fish that was still moist. Prices were a bit high for what is essentially a street stand, but I guess you have to pay the Covid tariff.

I always feel extremely welcomed at El Barquito by Antonio, Gloria, Marquitos, Lupita, and every other individual who works at this restaurant! They make Tucson feel like home in how they remember us each time we return and take the time to engage us in conversation. Absolutely love eating at El Barquito! My girlfriend and I are hooked on their tostadas and the quesadilla de marlin. What really keeps me coming back are the people. Antonio and the wonderful people that work at this little taco truck bring me so much joy. As someone who’s learning Spanish, they make me feel so comfortable and accepted to practice my Spanish.
