My mom and I went here for lunch today. Our server was very attentive. The chicken salad was good. I had asparagus soup and a hot dog, which were actually both good. The location was perfect, as we were shopping at the thrift store next door.

I had breakfast at Jimmy’s today: corned beef hash, hash browns and eggs. Everything was delicious and cooked to perfection. I can totally recommend the corned beef hash!!! It’s home made (not from a can) , cooked crispy and so perfect (compliments to the chef). The service was very friendly and quick. No long waiting although the place was very busy. I like the fact that they have enough waitresses so the service is very efficient. Definitely a great place to grab breakfast or lunch.

Absolutely BEST family restaurant in NPR. The menu is affordable, the portions are generous, the staff is pleasant and accommodating, the owners are very involved and love that they welcome the guests and are an active part of the day to day! Nancy and Stu are fabulous, and that kitchen… James you rock!! Well they don’t lie when they say its the best biscuits and gravy you will EVER have! So happy for new ownership and updates to the restaurant as well! Looking forward to many more dining experiences.

I had a small, but tasty breakfast: one egg, hashbrowns, rye toast, and a cup of coffee. No meat, nothing fancy. Food was very good, service was excellent, but I had sticker shock at the price: $10 bucks with tax and tip. We’re talking one egg, no meat! And the price of eggs has been down now for a month.

Restaurant is clean, prices are absolutely amazing and the food is good. If you’re a northerner looking for good old fashioned home cooking, this is the breakfast / lunch place to go to. Reason for the 3-stars is our waitress was bland and dismissive of us, as well as I ordered the Spinach and Feta Omlette, but got it with nothing but spinach, which I could tell was canned or frozen and not fresh.

Enjoyed lunch there after walking Sims Park with our dog. Jimmy’s has outdoor seating and is dog friendly. Lunch was great. I especially enjoyed having mimosas. We will definitely be back.
