Went to the Carriage House to support my friend Sharon the dish washer that works there. Not our usual spot but damn it just might be. There was live music outside by the lake. It was a beautiful day to eat outside. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. My boyfriend had the Cabernet wine with beef gulash and I had Rosé with the tch chicken. You can tell they use quality fine wine. Definitely The Best Bar/Restaurant with a amazing lake view on 206. 10/10 will be coming back again. I highly recommend The Carriage House.

We had the most fantastically delicious dinner here tonight! Generous portions and very affordable. We even got to make our own Christmas ornament and hang it on the tree ! Our waitress was amazing and friendly and willing to accommodate any special requests we had. We will definitely be going back again for more European deliciousness!

Run don’t walk to this fab local restaurant. New favorite place. This food was OUTSTANDING, drinks delicious, apps surprising and tasty, background music spot on and all reasonably priced comparatively speaking. Can’t wait to go back!!!!

Went for lunch… 4 adults, 2 children. Ate outside. Perfect! Waitress was fantastic. Trout was wonderful, as was everything else. Superb bread. Dinner menu looked great. Must return.

Lakefront dining with beautiful views of Culver Lake. Options on the menu includes burgers, goulash, schnitzels, pastas, salads, seafood, sandwiches, etc. Service was good, beer was cold, and food delicious.

Worth the $1 bridge toll (both ways) crossing over from the PA Poconos. If we weren’t in #pandemiclife, would love to have sat down at this charming restaurant for our delicious dinner. Alas, we ordered to-go, but it was still outstanding. Decent variety vegetarian options, which was a nice rarity to see at a German-style restaurant.

I have been visiting this restaurant for at least a decade and have always enjoyed the food and service at the Carriage House, so my experience last week was a shock. Food was mediocre and a very poor cut of pork and the drinks were the worst I have ever had (and I’ve had some bad ones ;-). Our old fashions had neither bourbon nor the flavor of an old fashion. Although, I can’t prove it, I became sick early the next morning and didn’t have any other food other than at this restaurant. Unfortunately, my decade long tradition of visiting this restaurant has come to an end.
