Beautifully decorated, you feel like you are in a small restaurant in Mexico. The drink station is a small mock cottage so you have the feeling of being in a small village. I loved it, great ambiance. So the food, it was wonderful I had the beef enchiladas with rice and beans, and my husband had the shrimp, beef and chicken Fajitas, it was very authentic and delicious. Plenty of chips and salsa too. Our waiter was great, even though they were busy he always made it a point to stop by and make sure we had what we needed. Highly recommend!!! It’s our new favorite place.

Very nice restaurant interior. Ok good and ok service. Margarita left something to be desired. Asked for top shelf and got house tequila and nothing like grand mariner to make it pop. It was a bit weird. Basic Mexican fare reasonably well done for an ok price. Margarita was way overpriced for what it was though at least it was fresh lime instead of store-bought sour mix.

A very solid all around Mexican restaurant. I’m a big fan of the traditional number based meals and always tend to go with the #1. My go to meal when first visiting a new restaurant is two enchiladas, a taco and rice. For me. Enchiladas make or break a Mexican restaurant. San Miguel meets my taste profile perfectly. Just tangy enough but not overly tomato-ish (some enchi sauces taste a bit Ragu-like) Very traditional spanish rice and fantastic coverage of meats and cheeses that just satisfy that traditional Mexican food dish that I crave. A great atmosphere, excellent bar, friendly service, clean and delicious. So far. Our go to for the area.

Wow! I was not expecting this place to be as good as it was. The plaza is an older, unassuming one, but once you step inside the restaurant it’s large and beautifully decorated with all sorts of colorful Mexican decor. The service is friendly and quick (we went for early dinner). The food was incredible – large portions and great quality, lots of meat in the fajita meal and not too much grease. If you’re looking for a hidden gem Mexican food experience, it’s here. Way better than Vallartas and a lot less rowdy.

Good food and atmosphere for a local restaurant. Service was quick but I stopped off peak hours. The food was served hot and the beer served cold, can’t ask for much more. The table salsa wasn’t spicy (I prefer spicy but can’t win them all) but had good flavor. The burrito traditional was assembled well though could benefit from less or no sour cream. The fajitas has very little flavor and could have benefited from a good marinade before cooking.

One of my favorite Latin restaurants! The owner is great and that shows through the staff as well! Food is excellent and the energy they bring to your meal is so inviting! Big or small groups all are wonderfully taken care of. Highly recommended.
