Food is really great at Thai Thani restaurant. I ordered one Fried rice with chicken and another order of Bangkok fried rice with egg and tofu. Both were delicious One fried rice is good enough for 2 people easily. Good quantity as well as the best quality for the price.

I’ve never had a bad meal at Thai Thani over the entire time they’ve been open. From curry to pho to pad Thai it’s all delicious. The owner is the sweetest person as well! Food is made fresh and of course delicious! Portions are huge so I can easily get 2-3 meals from just one order! Highly recommend!

Excellent food! Everything I tried had such a delicious variety of flavor and tasted fresh. I love that it was not greasy like a lot Asian takeout can be. I will be back as a regular customer and really enjoyed the Pineapple Fried Rice, Krung Thai Noodles and Tom Kha Soup. The owner was cooking everything herself when I arrived, was extremely friendly and happy to make accommodations! Thank you!

Huge portions! Delicious! The satay is lightly fried, not my favorite, but delicious! They honored my special requests for no onions. The larb was really yummy!!! But could be less sweet. The green curry with chicken was scrumptious!! Spice level 3 was perfect. Thanks for extra fish sauce and hot sauce!!! Ill be back! Eric

Their service is fantastic and well spoken, and the food is wonderful. The yellow curry was flavorful and spiced to order as was the pad Thai which was nicely portioned and not too sweet also just the right amount of heat. The veggie only spring rolls were basic as all get out but quite fresh and the peanut sauce to dip was excellent. Would recommend and will have again.

The chef is on point. Entrees were fresh/hearty and nicely spiced. We moved here from Denver and have been disappointed with the selection ( or lack there of) in the Decatur restaurants scene. The order taker is lacking in menu knowledge and general Thai food background.

The Nam Sod chicken salad is my favorite. It’s spiced perfectly and you can choose how spicy hot it is. I want to try more things off the menu, but that dish is so good that I end up getting it almost every time.

I love Thai Thani, what I consider to be the only authentic Thai restaurant in Decatur, IL (as opposed to Thai fusion). Their spring rolls are the best I’ve had in years and, while I tend to favor fresh Basil dishes at most places, here I favor the curries (especially red) and soups (both Tom Yum and Tom Ka). Everything I’ve tried is good, without exception and the 1 to 5 star spicy scale is consistent. They seem to have high turnover with servers, but the service has always been friendly. Prices are reasonable, as Thai food always should be. I highly recommend Thai Thani.
