This place used to be phenomenal. I grew up on an island and have lived in 7 states. For twenty years, this place had the best fish n chips I’d ever had in my life. The batter was like tempura, light and crisp. The veggies and fish were fresh and high quality.

Food was very tasty! Fish was crispy and delicious, fries were perfectly salted. Generous portions of both. Tartar sauce had a nice flavor. Staff were friendly & efficient despite being slammed on a Friday night. Food was served in eco-friendly paper bags & trays, limited plastic.

I have been enjoying this restaurant for the past 10 years, and it still has the charm . I am pescatarian so I love getting the mushrooms and prawns . The portion sizes are awesome and the taste is delicious and consistent they never let me down. I’m originally from the bay area have traveled to several COUNTRIES and can say that elk grove is not know for it’s fish and chips, so I am so thankful for this location, one of the only ones on elk grove Blvd that is exclusively fish and chips. This restaurant is a core part of old Elk grove and is here to stay ! I always treat my family to ocean fish and chips when they come in from the Bay Area! The delicious crispy food will have you coming back for another visit!

Easy to find, right on Elk Grove Blvd, the building needs some serious renovation not only to the outside, but the interior as well, dirty worn-out booths , faded wall posters, and serious clutter behind the front counter. Older very small restaurant which could use some updating especially of their tables. They are clean but whatever cleaning product they use it makes the table sticky. They do not wipe after each use. Best to order and take out. Prices are very reasonable. The food is ok, not spectacular but ok for the price. Only serve soft drinks.

Dine in for dinner. 3 piece fish and chips tasted good and served timely. I’m particular about cleanliness of tables and utensils. They need to clean the tables as they were very sticky. Also paper plates are too thin and need to be thicker. Parking ok, tight.
