At our Perry, GA location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

Never made it to the counter to order. Walked in and the store was filthy. Not a clean table in the joint. Trays with leftover food on each table and the floor was nasty. There was not a single customer in the store. There were however two employees standing behind the counter eating and drinking. No effort being made to clean up. Wife and I walked out and won’t be back

Employee was rude and did get the order right. It was fine in it was but in bags, corn in the cob was ordered as a side gave French fries. Loaded bake potato no sour cream then jerked us around making us show our receipt three separate times. Kept our patience but this ridiculous service.

Terrible. This is the worst .captain D’s anywhere. When I ask if the 2 piece fish dinner could be made 1 pc. She said I can make you a kids meal. I said how many shrimp. Answer none. Told me had shrimp 5 for 3.99. I agreed. When got bill she ended up charging me for each individal thing. Fries fish shrmp and tea. Bill was 20 bucks. And believe me this food was the worst ever had. What happen to a once good place to stop when traveling. Do not reccomend this dirty place. Bathrooms nasty.

Came after church today. As usual the dining area was closed. Sat in a car line 25 minutes only to see an employee come out with a sign and place over the To Go order box, “Closed until 4:00pm no one showed up to work”. This was the worst Mothers Day experience for this is what my mom requested. Was wiling to wait but not until 4:00pm

The food is great! But the service I just received was lacking! the lady at the drive thru window seemed to think it was ok to scold me because I asked for the new lobster bites meal and when my total didn’t match what I ordered she proceeded to scold me but mentioned that there were 3 different ones and that she can’t be making all of these voids! I told her that I understood being a manager as well but I had no idea that there was three different versions of what I had ordered! Needless to say that encounter with an angry person in the drive thru just about ruined my appetite and my day today! Life is tough I get it but please don’t take it out on your customers!
