Beans & Brews Coffee House has been around since 1993, when the Laramie family opened shop next to Salt Lake City’s beloved hangout, Liberty Park. The family refined the process of high-altitude roasting, which results in uniquely smooth coffee with intense flavor.
Beans & Brews—or “Beans,” as friends call us for short—is now a staple around Utah and its friends, Idaho and Nevada.
Our guests are our reason for getting up in the morning. We love greeting regulars with their favorite drinks, made just the way they like ‘em. And we dig getting to know newcomers from all over the world and welcoming them to the Beans community.
Cheers and stop by soon!

Had a meeting here. The barista was helpful with my indecisiveness and patiently offered her recommendations. I appreciated that. I really enjoyed my chai with a splash of lavender. I will have to get that again. Oh and that must have been the fast beverage I’ve ever received.

I’ve been to this location many times and the bathrooms are always dirty and often have no paper towels. The napkin holders are usually empty, and when I pointed this out, the staff didn’t fill them. Tables aren’t always wiped down, and my order has been forgotten twice. The staff are super friendly but management needs improvement.

I have never been here and had it take less than 20 minutes of sitting and waiting. Probably the slowest drive thru I have ever been to in Salt Lake City. Went through last week and it took 16 minutes to hand out 1 drink and a food item, and that’s the norm every single time I come. Don’t go here if you’re in a rush, you 100% will be late. Writing this review while I’ve been waiting in line for 27 minutes. There’s 2 cars ahead of me, why does it take almost a half hour to serve 2 guests. Ridiculous. The food or drinks aren’t nearly good enough for a 30 minute wait. At least have good items to sell if every visit to this establishment is going to take close to an hour Just to get through the drive thru

This location is not great. They are constantly out of stuff and blame “the supply chain,” although the other locations don’t seem to have that problem.

I don’t know if it’s just the coffee I ordered, but it was disgusting. I might try to come back and give it a second chance, but it tasted like Rotten milk thats been sitting in the fridge way too long. I think it may have been that they heated the milk? But anyways it was gross. I don’t know what all the hype is about.

They are having an issue with the app where it tells them I ordered no espresso/whipped when I actually do. I call ahead to ask them to please include these. Apparently me trying to fix their problem has offended them. They send me a less than full drink, no espresso/whipped and it’s straight liquid instead of a blended drink. Get it together this is ridiculous.

Great little coffee spot in SLC. They have good wifi connection and lots of seating (comfortable booths and couches too!).

BEANS & BREW has been my only choice for a Coffee House Since The First Store Opened in SaltLakeCity ~ There were only 2 other places in the early 1980s to get a decent cup of coffee,

Man, I can’t tell you the last review I wrote. Their menu had a major portion listed as “currently unavailable” so I order some random drink and it just was not good. It was like a watered down coffee slush (supposed to be a vanilla frappe) so something must have gone wrong behind the scenes. That is the icy, whip creamed top sadness on the right. I paid $7 for that, first mistake. Then I saw a lady leave with what I normally get that was supposedly unavailable… Okay, I’m an adult, I ask if they do have those drinks, and the cashier, bless his Xanax and pot flooded heart, asked if I wanted one. Ah, thought you’d never ask. I get my drink, sip that divine frozen caramel cielo, nectar of the gods, and…. he says “uh sir that’ll be $7.xx, excuse me, what? $20 and a croissant that looked like it was under a mattress next to dirty money, it was a deflated Whoopie cushion of a sandwich. I should have taken a picture but this whole adventure has been fascinating, baffling, and frustrated. I ordered a ham/chz/croissant sandwich and got a latke of some sort. These are godless times, this is proof.
