I used to love going here but their service has gone down over the years. The food has become over-priced. I also once called before their closing time and they wouldn’t take my order because they decided to close early that day, even though they took my phone call! I’ve now found a new Mexican place in town to order from in Gallo’s. Gallo’s is much more affordable and with much better food and service.

I’ve been eating here for close to ten years, but I cant force myself to anymore, an I can’t recommend it to anyone else. The food is wildly overpriced now, especially considering the quality. Consistently cold , bland and greasy. The number of times I’ve ordered the pork and received a big clump of arteries mixed in, or some similar inedible thing is too high . very unpleasant surprise.

Our only explanation for this place is that it must be an illegitimate front for money laundering. The food is fine – they don’t have salsa (just hot sauce) so the quesadilla and burritos we had were dry but flavorful. The prices are outrageous – $19.99 for a burrito, $17.99 for a quesadilla – for counter service and plastic utensils. For half the price I could see coming here again, but these are restaurant prices and not a restaurant product. Like we just had excellent enchiladas at a sit down restaurant in West Hartford for $17… who is paying $20 for this place? It cannot be legit.

Great Mexican style tacos. You can try a variety as they are a la cart. We tried chicken, beef, chorizo and pork. All delicious. Don’t need any toppings but does come with two sauces. Reasonable price too.

Awesome authentic and delicious food. The burritos are excellent. Just walking into this place everything smells so delicious. It’s a wonderful homie atmosphere the people are so nice. It is completely out of my way but I will gladly drive 45 minutes just to get a carnitas burrito.

Rainy cold Friday afternoon around 2 pm we stopped to have a burrito. We’ve eaten here before and loved the food. But today, the restaurant was cold and damp and our food was also cold and runny. I never had a COLD burrito before and it was disgusting!!!
