Absolutely DO NOT recommend this place!! Saturday night 7/22/23, myself and a group of friends arrived by boat at about 7:30 pm. Upon arrival we used the restrooms as we had just gotten off a long boat ride, and then we took a table outside on the patio. Of our group of 6, one man did not have a shirt on and when he tried to go inside to use the restroom he was told he could not come in without a shirt. As he didn’t want to go all the way back to the boat, another of our group lent him his shirt so he could go inside. When he returned to the group outside the man working who had told him he must wear a shirt came out to our table and very rudely asked what we wanted. The group asked if we could order food and we were told yes if we did it right away as they would be closing soon. We ordered food and drinks and he took our orders, collected menus and went back inside. After waiting a very long time one of our group who had recently been in a horrible accident and who we had CARRIED up from the boat, needed to use the restroom and so her boyfriend picked her up and carried her inside to use the restroom and to check on our food order. When entering the bar, the man who had taken our order yelled at them to get out, that if we were going to be immature we needed to leave immediately. We explained that the girl was recovering from a broken hip and pelvic fracture and couldn’t walk and he told us to leave anyway. We asked about the food we had ordered and he stated that they didn’t serve outside (even though thats where he had dropped our menus AND taken our order), and that he hadn’t put our food order in and that we all just needed to leave. Not one of us were rude, out of line or causing any type of a problem at all and the complete rudeness, disrespect and complete discrimination a handicap person received was absolutely unbelievable and we would not recommend this business to anyone!!!

Very rude service, would not recommend! The waiter came out side took order for food and drinks said kitchen closes soon. Went inside to check and he said they don’t serve food or drinks outside. Unable to walk as a sober patron I was almost denied the use of the facilities because waiter classified me getting carried in as “horse play”. Refused to order our food after he took order. Denied drink order after waiting 30 min for food. Flipped the closed song 15min prior to closing. Would not explain why he took our food order outside but never ordered it. Kicked us all out for no cause. Horrible!

Friendly staff and reasonable prices make this no-frills fisherman-friendly bar a great hangout. We sat at the bar, but there was a small dining section, too. This place appeared to be family-friendly, too.

Two moms with the 3 littles decided to try the place out . We traveled by boat just to go here. We regretted the moment we walked in on how we were greeted by the owner Mary. She is the rudest old lady we’ve ever met. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone!

We stopped in today and had the worst experience. We were met with “We have three people working. We can’t accommodate more than a table of 6”. We had six adults and five children ages 8 and under. We should have said we were a group of five and another group of six! We were ushered outside, but still received service for drinks. We watched many other groups (anywhere from 2-5 people) come into the establishment. We were told something along the lines “we can’t watch your children. They can’t run outside” and “people camp up the road, your kids can’t run.” First of all, our kids are OUR responsibility and were behaving like normal, well behaved kids, Second, it was 4:30 in the afternoon…why can’t our kids run outside?

Great spot for reasonable drinks, decent food. Pool table and large open interior. Plus if you catch a big enough fish you can get your photo put on the wall with it. I’d be a regular customer if I lived in the area.

Food was amazing, quiet place tucked in a nice cove. Kind of in the boonies tho. Recommend to boat here. Took about 25 minutes from Hope ID

Aaarggh! This place was awesome makes me wish I had a wooden leg an eye patch and parrot. Fast service and fun atmosphere. I will have to come back one day to do some serious drinking. The last great getaway for Sandpoint and Sagle locals. A hidden gem. You walk into a real piece of history and a legacy that will carry on for future generations. Alone by itself in the wilderness this bar/restaurant boast character. As a real boat captain myself I felt at home. Fair winds and following seas shipmates. I will be back. Ohhh.. the food is really good too!

Unexpectedly delicious. A great staple for Pend O boaters. Their pulled pork was outrageously delicious! Delicious coleslaw. Top tier/friendly service. Dated ambiance but clean. I will be back.

Great ambiance, reminiscent of a marriage between a biker bar and family restaurant. Lots of locals, but the owner and staff make you feel welcome. Surprisingly good choices of food for a remote, seasonal restaurant, with most menu items prepared on site. Limited hours in the off-season, so call ahead. A must-visit during your stop in Garfield Bay on Lake Pend Oreille.
