Roasted Chiles in Kihei is a great spot for Mexican food. A great atmosphere with the contents of the restaurant being brought from Mexico. We are locals and enjoy stopping by from time to time. Sometimes just for a drink and sometimes for drink and food. My favorite item is the enchiladas langostina. Such a unique dish and if you get a side of the Serrano and garlic sauce and add that to the top you can’t go wrong.

I recently moved from California to Tennessee and have been missing good Mexican food. Stopped here on our vacation, and was pleasantly surprised. Food was great! Our server David was the kindest person. Very knowledgeable about the menu and drinks. We got his recommendations for drinks and entrees, and both were phenomenal. Overall a good choice if you’re in Kihei and missing some good food.

The service was great. The food and salsa was good. The margaritas were underwhelming. We watched all the people that had different margaritas, and no one had drank more than 1 drink of them. The rice was ok, but the beans were very flavorful. Best refried I’ve ever had.

Was overpriced for what you got. They upcharge you over $5 for guacamole or ground beef on nachos/in Burrito. Fajitas had tons of onions but not much other veggies. Was just not that good.

Unassuming looking restaurant in a mall. There was a line outside, so it was great we made reservations. Started with fresh made tortillas and salsa — always a good sign. We had a burrito, mole, carnitas and fish tacos. The good: fresh food, well prepared. Service was quick and friendly. Price was reasonable. Overall: not much to complain about. Don’t expect high end gourmet fare, just a solid family style Mexican restaurant. We’d definitely repeat.

Been here a few times, service is normally pretty slow. Food is always good. Can’t go wrong with steak tacos. My fiancé got the shrimp fajitas, tho they were good there wasn’t many shrimp for the price. But this is a great place for Mexican food and margs when your on Maui.

Excellent choices on the menu. The taco salad had a generous amount of fish. My son ordered the family ” secret sauce” dish a favorite. It was a generous amount of food. Prices were a little high for Mexican food. For three of us came to $87 with only one happy hour margarita! We had excellent service so I still wanted to leave 5 stars!
