The food, drinks and atmosphere were really good. Magie Mae’s is fairly new to Leander, so we waited a little bit so they could work out the new location bugs. The food looked like the pictures on the menu, was served hot, and tasted really good!! The staff was very helpful and accommodating to special requests. I also noticed that they are family-friendly. The only reason I did not give them five stars is that it would have been nice to have wait staff. Instead, you have to wait in line to get your drinks, food, and pay your bill.

Well I’m really glad this place popped up in Leander. Great place to unwind after work and the staff can’t get any friendlier or any more accommodating. Told the bartender that I really liked their ribeye but we just wanted bar munchies while the really great guy playing live music outside was singing and entertaining a couple that got engaged while we were there… So what did they do, well they made us steak (ribeye) nachos is what they did. And they were on fire. Told them they should add them to the menu. Here see for yourself

Nice addition to old Town Leander. Live music the night we were there. Not crowded at 8pm on a Friday. Had the fish and chip’s and my wife had the Philly cheesesteak which was enormous. Fish batter was a touch bland but the fish itself and the fries were good. Service was prompt and the staff were super nice. Variety of games in a second room for other entertainment purposes. Nice place for a evening out also some covered outside seating.

We had a few of their house drinks every one of them was good. Ordered the fried pickles and fried Mac and cheese for our appetizers. Good portion sizes. We had one of the Dawgs and the nachos also super good. Best part though is that I brought my dogs and sat on the patio and they brought out water for them. I missed some pics of the food but here are my cute dogs.

Just went for drinks and had a good experience. Bartenders were super friendly, knowledgeable and had good suggestions. I always want to come here for lunch on the weekends so I wish they were open earlier but it is what it is. Also, we sat at the bar so service was easy but if you’re at a table you still have to order from the bar which I wouldn’t like. I didn’t eat this time but have had a burger before and food was pretty good. Will definitely come back and hope for the seat at the bar!

This isn’t the same as Maggie Mae’s on 6th Street… but it’s a good addition to Old Town Leander, TX. The beer is cold, around $5 for domestic. The current outdoor deck is not too inviting. However, we were told they recently purchased the lot next door and they have some cool plans for outdoor expansion. Expect your typical bar food, wings, burgers, fries, hot dogs. The chips were stale… but the salsa and guac was great. The burgers taste like they are cooked on an open flame grill, very tasty, and cooked perfectly. They have a fun game area with Guitar Hero, Pac Man, Pong, skee ball and more. The place is clean and the staff were very nice and accommodating. This is a great place to drink and hang with friends. We will be back.

LOVE this place! The cute girl behind the bar was so helpful and patient while my family took some time figuring out what we wanted. Ordered to go and the food was soooo delicious! Especially the beer battered fish! I live 10 min away and when we got home it was all still so fresh! Definitely our new go to spot!!! Highly recommend!

We decided to go and have a drink, the UT game was on multiple TV’s. When you walk in you’re greeted and told to sit wherever you like and all orders are done at the bar. We sat at the bar and my daughter ordered a chicken sandwich, extra fries and pretzel bites. The chicken sandwich was HUGE, fries were nice fresh and salty. The pretzel bites were really good as well. Orders were fast and it was a fun atmosphere.

Came at 10:54 pm to place to go order, she was so rude and didn’t accept the order even though I showed her the closing time is 11:00 pm. Disappointed drove there from Austin ((
