I had so many people “rave” about this place, and I was not impressed after today. Our waitress was great, got our drink order right away, gave our table bread/butter etc. As I’m waiting for food to arrive, I notice how poor the air quality is, like I’m sweating and then realize why I’m so hot. I look up and see how filthy the vents are, the light fixtures above the table are caked in dust. Also, not to mention how tiny the bathroom stall was. The food was mediocre. I did order bread pudding and it was the only good thing.

I absolutely love eating here, me and a friend went last Friday for lunch and it was lovely. The food was delicious the service was great and the wait time was not long at all, the only concern I had was the stairs & the heat. I’m not sure if this restaurant is able to place a elevator in the restaurant if so, that would be great. Also, check the heat upstairs. It was a bit hot and the air conditioning unit we sat by it was leaking on us, but other than that everything went really well and we really enjoyed our lunch.

Great food and very great waitress and team! But dam the owner has got to clean those nasty air vents and fix the air. I’ve never seen air vents so caked up in black dust in my life. Me and my family come here atleast 2 times a week but I think we are gonna not be regular customers anymore.The food inspector ignored us as we called him multiple times to the table.

I got the Pasta Mediterranean, and it was amazing! Huge serving, I took half home and ate it for lunch the next day. Others had steak and chicken dishes that also looked and smelled wonderful. Service was on point.

It is a nice setting. The atmosphere is pleasant. Lots of lighting but bring a jacket because it gets cold. We got 2 appetizers. The Fried Cheese and the Italian Nachos. The food portions are huge. We all enjoyed our food. From the Voodoo Pasta to the Lasagna.

Local Italian restaurant that far surpasses chain places with fresh food made awesomely. I opted for fresh fish item Grouper with tomato cream sauce over angel hair pasta, loved it. Wife had awesome chicken parmesan made in house and tender beyond description. Highly recommend this spot!

I ordered scallops with extra vegetables from the Jacksonville location. And this is what they tried to serve me. They charged me $70 for the two boxes of five scallops and burnt vegetables. I left my food there and I won’t be back. The manager was so happy when I asked to speak to the manager, her smug face when she said that she was the manager was somethings she had obviously practiced with much satisfaction. She offered absolutely no resolution except more burnt vegetables. I wasn’t interested in anything that they were going to cook after this is what they tried to send me home with. $100 for 10 scallops, burnt vegetables and two burnt personal pan pizzas is a little outrageous. I won’t ever have to worry about eating there again and the manager won’t ever have to worry about seeing me again either. Their food is subpar and their attitudes are awful. The counter at the bar was sticky and the floor even stickier. I think it would be a much better environment if they were clean and accommodating to their customers, instead of smug and argumentative. They were so very satisfied that they had already taken my money and they weren’t going to give me a refund. My credit card company had a different idea about that so I wasn’t too concerned about the transaction because I believe in my credit card company. I don’t believe in Effinas Tuscan Grille. Don’t waste your time or your money trying to get a good product out of this place or these people.

This was probably one of the most disappointing experiences I’ve had at this establishment. I came here once many years ago but it appears they have new “cooks” because the experience was nothing like the last time I visited. Staff was ok if not a little inattentive, but the most egregious part was the food. I have three small children and they wanted chicken fingers and somehow those ended up burnt as well as the fries. My wife and I both ordered veal piccata and somehow it was undercooked and a soggy mess of uncooked flour and way too much sauce. It took forever for the food to come even though we were the only party in the building and somehow everything was still either burnt to a crisp or undercooked like they just took it out of the fridge and warmed it up in a microwave. This was a very disappointing experience, especially compared to the wonderful experience I had years ago. I really hope they fix the issues they have.
